Cavaliers @ Spurs | NBA Finals- Game 2 | June 10th, 2007

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I think Mike Brown figured out we need to have shooters in the game at all times.

Lebron cant do it himself and the coaching is bad

If we swapped coaches, the cavs would win this in 4 quick games. Mike Brown is so bad. And no, he did not get us this far. We struggled to get this far even with such poor coaching.

DO NOT START HUGHES.
DO NOT BE A RETARD.
GIBSON IS BETTER

what a game of bad coaching.. mike brown.. PLEASE trust your best/smartest player. you take him out 2 mins in with 2 fouls..he ends the game with 3. smart move...not.. please understand bron is a smart player.

The cavs took a huge plus out of this game finishing the way they did. we played like CRAP and were in it in the end. Going home, they will have confidence.

What stat that urks me, we missed 10 free throws, that would have made the game a WHOLE lot more interesting..

lets go cavs.

The game was lost after LeBron received his 2nd foul. I understand Mike Brown not willing to risk him getting his 3rd. I'm not too mad about that move. But he should have at least played the last two minutes of the 1st.

Seriously. Get Larry Hughes the **** out of this team. He brings nothing to the table, and I'm sick of him getting regular minutes. Give all of his minutes to Boobie, and have Eric Snow backup PG.

Eric didn't do bad at all while he was in there. Tony slowed down alot, and I have no idea why we didn't go back with Eric to guard Parker.

On a positive note, we put up a fight again at the end. I'm pulling for a sweep at home, but I'm not sure we can pull that off.

Man what happened.......why do we always seem to get serious in the 4th Quarter?!

Although the Cavs looked terrible for 3 quarters and the Spurs out did them in every area, I can't get too pissed right now. The Cavs are in the NBA Finals and no one thought they would be here. It's at least 1, if not 2, years sooner than anyone reasonaby thought. The Spurs are simply a far better and more experienced team while the Cavs are still in the building process. I can't complain too much no matter what happens this series.

However, I was disappointed in the apparent lack of adjustments from game 1 and the continued bad play of Cavs vets. Z missing open looks he usually hits. Gooden disappearing at times and missing defensive rotations and Snow getting beat badly by whoever he was guarding.

Hughes poor once again. I didn't want to change the lineup but I did want limited minutes for Hughes. 20 is way too much.
Cavs need to get the ball out of LeBron's hands more and have others initiate more offense. Spurs entire defensive focus is on LeBron. Set up him more rather than always having him set up others. It would at least force the Spurs to have to adjust their def. stategy.

This has to be a wake up call for offensive changes this offseason. How about more of that Spurs motion and ball movement?

That just sucked. We have no answer for Tony Parker.

Hopefully this will serve as yet another catalyst in getting an offensive guru assistant for Mike "My Defense Is My Offense" Brown. :dunno:

I can handle watching the offensive woes - after all, we have seen them all season - but it is strange to see the Cavs struggle so much on defense. Missed rotations, failing to contest the 3, giving up double-digit offensive rebounds, stopping Parker for a few minutes and then letting him light brand new fires over and over again. It is hard to tell if the Spurs are that good (I know they are) or if the Cavs just can't grasp what they are supposed to do. So far, the big 3 for the Spurs have each had excellent offensive games. Cavs have no shot if they don't figure out how to stop at least one of them.

I wouldn't mind seeing Pollard out there to use his fouls against Duncan or Parker. At least you know he'll stop easy layups unlike our soft brigade of 4s and 5s.

i thought this meant "everything" to cleveland fans, getting to the finals, and there are 3 members in here, pathetic. there are 520 people on the spurs forum...

Please save the righteous indignation. It is completely unnecessary.
