Cavaliers to Reach out to Amar'e... Safari?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It isn't that big of a deal anyway. Everything will work out for the better. I am glad we still have J.J. right now. Jamison+J.J.>Amare. Plus JJ will probably get us Bosh.

Amare> JJ + Jamison, unless JJ nets us Bosh like you said.

I say Riley panicks and offers Amare the max as well.

Gotta see how Amare holds up on his max deal first and how JJ pans out oh and what Jamison nets us next year.

Great, I anxiously await the Antawn Jamison trade at the deadline in 2012.... Lord knows where I will be at that time, I'm really not concerning myself with that.

Plus I'm sure we'll love the overpaid old vet he'll net us:thumbup:

I don't like this because our options to get a second max here continue to dwindle as time passes. No JJ. Now no Amare.

With Amar'e out of Phoenix's picture, it's time for the Suns to cut ties and max out Nash's value. It's time for LeBron to get his point guard.

Interesting thought there.

Nash would be ridiculous paired with LBJ.

The Amare Safari has ended again since we have no chance of getting him :(

After watching this Amar'e saga play out, am I the only one who is thrilled that we didn't trade for him?

The Knickerbockers wooed him well. He's left money on the table and gone towards the bright lights of New York like a moth. He hasn't been the giddy little schoolgirl that Bosh has been this free agency, but I can help but think Stat would've left us as well.

Didn't the Knicks offer him $4M more than the Suns?

In any case, I ain't mad at him for leaving. For those saying he's "abandoning" Phoenix, you haven't watched him beyond highlight dunks. The Suns have been trying to trade him the past two seasons, it's always his fault when they lose and he gets none of the accolades if they win. The media says that Nash apparently "made him" even though he was a 20-10 guy in his 2nd year.

Guys, it's over. It was fun and all flirting with him the past 2 trade deadlines because we were desperate and unsure of JJ but it's time to let go. Any offensive spark he would have given us would have been weighed down by lack of D and rebounding. Defense wins championships.

On to the next one.

Amar'e won't be renounced until Thursday.

* A lot of questions about this, especially considering all the reports to the contrary. The Suns will not renounce their rights on Stoudemire until Thursday but they are saying there is no beneficial way for them to pull off a sign-and-trade.

Obviously a long shot considering the Knicks appear to have him on lockdown... but if...
