I don't have to listen to opposing announcers much. But listening to these two bums makes me realize that I take our announcers for granted. Their play by play announcer is one of the most uninteresting voices I have ever heard. He makes the game sound so much slower paced than it really is. Their color commentator seems like his only job is to bitch.
I gotta give it up for Fred. He really is top tier talent in the play by play category. He knows not only our players, but a lot of the players around the league.
And whether you love or hate Austin Carr, you have to admit he is interesting atleast.
