We had our starters out there a few minutes too long, but I'll take a Larry-less win on the road any way it comes. Snow was having a blast in the battle of the old guards, he got the second-most attempts on the night (after Lebron) but managed 18. Was funny to see him out there at the end to see how many points he could get. Interestingly, Sasha got the start since Hughes was a late scratch and I thought he played well given some consistent minutes.
Was also nice to see a what I hope becomes trademark 2nd half defensive surge to put the game away. We basically had a run there equivalent to what the Suns did the other day to us.
very impressed by the way the team dominated the 2nd half....we got back to our game and we won big....we pounded them inside and LeBron was taking it to the rim everytime he touched it...he would have dropped 40 if about 5 layups didnt roll in and out of the rim
Snow dropped 18...who would have thought...but he was going to the hoope and was taking layups...he forced things sometimes but overall the best E Snow game as a Cav yet
Z was great Drew was huge but not terrible and Andy had a great night and something like 12 boards
Larry is hurt....AHHHH!!! hopefully its only a 1 game thing but you never know with Larry he could be out for a damn month
overall guys stepped up and showed some pride after getting beat u by PHX the other night....witht his win 6 and 1 is a very reasonable goal now on this big trip....gotta keep taking care of business an give the effort we gave tonight EVERY night
That was a great road win. I was shocked watching Snow piling up the points out there. I love the second half defensive surges that are becoming a trademark of this team. I pretty much expected the results of the Phoenix game but to come back and get a win like this makes it a lot easier to swallow.
Now we still have four winnable games left on the trip. Seattle, Portland, Denver, and Golden St. If we can take three of those and finish this trip 5-2 I will be happier than Mike Brown after the game at Milwaukee :chuckles:
I had a good feeling about this road trip....as long as Larry is back to shadow Ray Allen and we don't let down against Portland this could very well end up to be a 5-2 trip or better.
Apparently he was getting a lap dance from a rather husky stripper and he when he attempted to lift his leg to get to his wallet he slightly pulled his quad muscle. He is day to day but could end up missing a few weeks.
