Cavs Media day

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I find it telling the first two names that came to his mind were Dean and Dylan in the corner.

If i were Okoros mom I would be worried.

For real, someone is going to find himself deep on the bench. Cavs are way too deep. Especially with Rubio back.

I don't think Garland likes Okoro's shyness. Garland sucked 2 years in a row, yet he still shot the ball. It shows a lack of faith in his manhood. Okoro had a big audition last year for the part, it didn't work out.

Your posts are hard to take seriously most of the time, but I will respond here. I think the issue with Okoro is how he was being misused on offense last year. He was forced into a floor spacing role which isn't really the best use of his skillset.

If he starts, I think he will have to continue doing that this year, but I really hope we see him used more as a power guard. Lots of back cuts and back screens with dump offs on the short roll. We know Isaac is super athletic and has really good vision even if his dribbling doesn't let him use it most of the time. Dribbling is not an issue in the short roll and he can push advantages in a 3v4 situation like Draymond Green or Bruce Brown. Brown is notable because he tore us apart with this in the Nets game late last season.

I'm sure his shooting will be better this year, but we cannot run Okoro in the same sets as Cedi or Windler and expect the same sorts of results.

Okoro might be the third guard. In a way, he's the perfect guy to pair with either of them because they aren't exactly defensive stalwarts.

Love to hear this from K Love. He really looked like he was loving basketball more last year than the Bron years and I expect he will continue to this season. The fact he was willing to take a smaller role on the offense and still be a contributor really speaks well of him...unlike a certain SF we are rumored to be interested in in Phx.

I hope we can resign him for a discount after this year and give him a bench spot for the next few years as we get the old man another ring. I think K Love will be a valuable 8th-10th man type until he is in his late 30s thanks to his rebounding, shooting and passing skills, which usually do not deteriorate with age. Def think he is headed to a jersey retirement as well.
