Nets Notes​

- New Jersey seems more interested in facilitating triple-doubles for Jason Kidd than actually winning ball games. I love Kidd, but, yeah...go you.

- They shot 32% against the Clippers in their last game. The freaking Clippers...defensive gamut of the West

- Josh Boone recently replaced Antoine Wright as the main big off the bench.

- Boki Nachbar, their main offensive weapon off the bench, has been mediocre (38% FG) on the year, but our perimeter defense must keep him from getting it going.

Cleveland Notes​

- We finally have our NBA Finals core back for the 1st time this year, and hopefully Boobie's "toophies" will let him join the party. Nothing more needs to be said- we need to see if we can regain our championship- caliber form.

Mike Brown Gameplan Keys​

- Key in on Richard Jefferson, usually a Cav killer- shouldn't be that hard as he has been deferring to Kidd too much anyway.

- Ilgauskas can fully concentrate on protecting the basket from penetration, because Jason Collins has no post game. This is a perfect game for Brown to pound home our help defense principles.

- Our on-ball defense automatically improves with Andy back now, and Snow coming off the bench (cross your fingers for Boobie)

Ummm...Kyp...LeBron was drafted before the 03-04 season, and Snow didn't come here until the 04-05 season. Ira came in the same season as LBJ.

Maybe you're thinking of Ricky Davis, DaJuan Wagner, Milt Palacio, Bimbo Coles, and Smush Parker as our monster backcourt.

Daniel Gibson was able to take part in practice Thursday, and the Cavs have upgraded him to questionable for tonight's game. But he was too shy to allow cameras to see his swollen face and jaw following surgery to remove a wisdom tooth Monday.
''It's been bad from the headaches and just feeling out of it, and I got a little cold from it,'' Gibson said with a towel wrapped around his face. ''I feel a little better each day. I've been getting a lot of ice cream and popsicles, but I miss my hamburgers and french fries.''

Take it easy on the Boobster. I know plenty of people who have been down and out for a couple of weeks from having their wisdom teeth out. Me personally I was eating chicken wings 2 days later, but lets say he had them compacted, that could be very painful and could take longer to heal.

LBJ's second season of 04-05...Snow and/or McInnis and Newble as the starting backcourt...when McInnis decided he needed to make his personal push for a contract, and the Cavs ended up 42-40.

New Jersey Nets star Jason Kidd is being sued by a 23-year-old model who accuses him of groping and threatening her at a Manhattan nightclub two months ago.

The lawsuit, filed in Manhattan's state Supreme Court, says Kidd "battered and assaulted" the woman in the Lower West Side club Tenjune on Oct. 10 when he "grabbed her buttocks and crotch on multiple occasions."

Ira should not have been our starting shooting guard, and Snow should not have been paired with a non-scoring shooting guard. The result was an unwatchable offense, to say the least. At least Mike Brown has found a niche for Ira: he has been successful as a backup PF. He doesn't rebound as well as Marshall, but his shooting and defensive positioning have both been an upgrade so far.

Eric Snow is a second string point guard. He brings plenty of intangibles, practically invented the hockey assist, and has forgotten more about the floor game of the NBA than Gooden and Pavlovic may ever figure out.
