Ooh I like this quite a bit. It’s certainly better than any design we’ve actually used, lol.

Well at the very least I like the center court better. Was not a fan of the ridiculously big C.

How could you possibly not find that big blue monstrosity in the center of the court a distraction?? It’s our tertiary color and logo! It’s certainly not deserving to be front and center like that.

I'm not a fan of this new logo, or the big C logo. But it appears to me the big C stretched out wider and longer.

I wonder how long it'll take me to get used to the Cavs' 'Microsoft clip art' logo, known colloquially as the 'global logo.' I just think this whole thing (jersey design, sponsor patch, horrendous court) is all very Euroleague.

At this point, after looking at that font on the court, I'd almost rather we just go full Dan Gilbert and go with Comic Sans.

Even though I hate that they added black to the scheme, it goes w/ wine & gold better than navy IMO. The new court looks better than our previous one that mixed black and navy or the one before that which over-emphasized navy.

Thank God that video game wasn't the real court.

I thought the point of the shield logo was that it would only be used in international markets...not be prominently displayed on our center court.

Count me on that side too. Maybe it's because I've been a soccer fan for years that this design looks pretty normal to me, but I'm really confused by all the hate.

My guess is that they wanted this thing on our court so that it's seen when our games get broadcast around the globe. Gilbert might feel like there is a lot more money to tap into than just NE Ohio.

Exactly.
I'm used to logos designed inside shields and they look pretty cool to me usually.

And it works with the cavalier theme.
