Hey y'all.

I am looking for a new Cavs Podcast to listen to. I frequently listen to LockedOn Cavs, but I really have a hard time listening to them for a few reasons I won't go into here, in case they are readers of this Forum. Nothing personal, just not a fan.

I already listen to ChaseDown, RRJ, and sporadically Fear the Fro and Cavs: The Podcast. But I am really hoping for someone out there besides LockedOn Cavs who podcasts at a frequency of more than once or twice a week. I like to listen at work when I'm not in meetings or listening to tunes. But the only one I have found so far that scratches that itch regularly enough is the one Podcast I don't really care for.

Any suggestions for other podcasts?

The only ones worth listening to you don't have listed are prob

Junkyard Pod. Tony Pesta is good. Jackson flickinger is on that one. Fear the sword guys

It's cavaliers podcast is good, but most of the content is short YouTube snippets. They haven't been as active this offseason

Across the Cavs is ok sometimes. Prob not satisfying to a hardcore fan. Has some good guests on sometimes.

Cavs pick and roll podcast is at a similar level.

Slim pickings.

Locked on is crazy because it must be hard to do it every day. Chris Manning was so so bad at podcasting to start with as he was seemingly a robot. He got better, and then added Evan Dammeral. Evan was ok at first when he deferred to Chris, but then when he got more confident he goes on these run-on sentences where it feels like he will never stop and makes 7-8 points using a lot of dependent clauses and it drives me crazy. Take a breath and discuss, dude.

Doldrums of the year so not much going on. Hard to fault most of these guys since I doubt anyone besides the Chase Down is making any substantial money.

My ranking would go

Chasedown
RRJ
It's cavaliers
Junkyard Pod
Wine and Gold podcast
Cavs the podcast(don't love this one, but they do actual analysis)
Locked on
Fear the Fro
Across the Cavs
Cavs Pick and roll
Cavs on the Break(bullshit whisperer pod very rarely does one)

Thanks. You have a few in there I have not tried. I may just have to go into a rotation.

I have tried like hell to get over my issues with LockedOn because they are the only Cavs podcast that reliably has 3 to 5 a week. I'll keep on trying to get past my issues LOL. Who knows. Hope springs eternal.

I have the same issue. Work from home and never enough Cavs content

Cavs on the Break is good when they create new content. If you're looking for historical stuff, Sabol Brothers on the Baseline has some cool pods with Mark Price, Shawn Kemp, Boobie Gibson, etc.

Chase down is prolly the best one they post on a regular basis and good insight I’m with you not a big fan of lockdown either

Most of the ones I'd recommend are named already. Chase Down is the "Wine and Gold" Standard for Cavs for me, Fear The Fro is almost what happens if I made a podcast (that guy is hilarious), Rubber Rim Job is GREAT, Junkyard Pod is too (helps because 1/2 of the hosts, Tony Pesta is a huge Cavs propagandist on Twitter), It's Cavalier is the same. I like Across The Cavs solely for its host: a young guy who is basically a Cavaliers historian and has so many great interviews. You really learn where the team came from on that pod.

Those are the ones I listen to the most.
