#1 G...GROUND and POUND THE BALL INSIDE!!!...plain and simple these guys cant defend the paint to save thier lives....Z should have a feild day on the offensive glass plus no one can defend his hook shot either....Drew always seems to tear Collison up and no one can defend his quick hook either...They have absolutely NO ONE who can guard LeBron so he needs to go to the basket everytime he touches it...Our starting frontcourt shold dominate the game pretty plain and simple...

#2 G...Get a hand in Ray Allen's face...he dropped 54 the other night and Jesus Shuttlesworth is the truth...For my money he has the best and most pure jumper I have ever seen...Just get up in his shorts and dont let him get easy baskets...he is going to make shots but make him earn them by shooting over a defender

#3 G... Grab THE BOARDS...we can and should out rebound this team by a large amount...offensive putbacks by Z Drew and AV should be coming all game...these type of 2nd chance points could be the difference in a win and a blow out win where we can rest the starters for the next game...


this game shouldnt be too tough...just come out ready to play and out them away early...this team is not on our level at home or on the road...Lets not come out and play like crap and get into a game where Lebron has to play 48 minutes or anything dumb like that...be professional and go out and take care of business

A new position for Ridnour

The point-guard controversy in Seattle was supposed to have been settled in October during training camp, but apparently Luke Ridnour got a little too comfortable in his starting position.

The fourth-year player was demoted to the bench starting with the Sonics' game against Golden State on Jan. 6.

And with replacement Earl Watson having averaged 11.8 assists in his past four games — including a career-high 16 in a win against Utah on Friday — it doesn't look like Ridnour will return to the starting lineup soon.

"I'm just staying positive and trying to help our team win," he said. "That's it. I know we're just trying to find some wins. That's what's going on right now."

The Sonics were on a six-game losing streak before defeating Utah in overtime.

Ridnour has also struggled with his shot of late, shooting just 34.1 percent (15 of 44) in January after shooting 48.9 in November and 45.0 in December. He has been working with Sonics assistant coach Gordon Chiesa on developing a consistent runner in the paint, as well as on his defense.

"I'm going to make the most of it," Ridnour said.

I hope Sasha starts regardless of whether or not Hughes is playing. Maybe create some confidence and trade value. If we jump on them early...possibly rest Hughes again for the evening.
