I just think the discrepancy in our talent versus their talent will prevail in a playoff setting.

But for game one I do worry a little about some possible rust. I hope our primary focus is first on executing an effective defensive strategy, second on being disciplined on offense. Game one I could see the Celts getting hot and jumping out to a good lead. If that happens we can't try to catch up with offense as much as clamp down on defense then let our offense take care of itself. The Celts can bring some pretty intense defensive pressure so taking care of the ball and limiting turnovers should be our primary offensive focus. Securing rebounds should be a key area of focus on both ends of the court.

Just don't see how their all defense lineup (Bradley, Smart, Crowder) bothers us nearly as much as Washington: our guys just shoot over them. I mean JR, Korver, Lebron all will be able to elevate over this if they can get open. I know they'll fight hard, get strips, play good positional defense but I'm just not seeing it.

I was honestly more worried about Wall being matched up against Irving b/c he can match his athleticism.

Bradley and Smart can't stay in front of Irving. They'll try to keep him off balance by being physical but that doesn't worry me much either. Crowder can't contain James.

I think this is going to be an ugly, nasty series. The Wizards series would have been much more fun to watch.

I was wrong last series about the Raptors, but I think the Celtics will pick up a game or two in this one. The refs alone at home will help them.
