Do Not Sell My Personal Information
whatever it takes but we cant tank 6 out of 7 like last years big roadie

we need at least 3 wins if not 4....gotta hope

CAVALIERS NOTES:

• With the win, the Cavs have won four games in a five-day span. The last time the Cavs won four games in a five day span was from Feb. 2-6, 1993.
• The Cavaliers have won 26 of their last 29 at The Q dating back to March 5, 2006. Cleveland ended last season winning 11 in a row and are off to a 15-3 start at home this season. During that stretch of time, the Cavaliers have the best home record in the NBA. We're good at home.
• Larry Hughes scored 21 points tonight. The Cavaliers are 14-2 dating back to last season when he scores 20 or more and 5-0 this season. We need Larry to do well.
• Over the last four games, all wins, Drew Gooden has averaged 18.8 points on 28-48 shooting (.583) and 11.0 rebounds. Drew coming back around?
• Over the last 10 games, Zydrunas Ilgauskas has averaged 15.6 points and 8.9 rebounds. He has scored in double figures in eight of the 10 games including three double-doubles. We all know Z is a slow starter, even though many of you wanted to kill him the first month.
• Over his last 14 games versus New Jersey, Zydrunas Ilgauskas has averaged 17.0 points on 83-155 shooting (.543), 8.5 rebounds and 2.3 blocks :) That shotblocking threat helps a LOT. per contest.
• In five games as a Cavalier against the Nets, Larry Hughes has averaged 16.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game.
• LeBron James recorded a personal season-high 13 rebounds. He also added 19 points, four assists, three steals and three blocked shots.
• In his last four games against the Nets, Drew Gooden has averaged 16.3 points on 25-38 shooting (.658) and 9.0 rebounds per game.
• The Cavaliers have sold out 13 of their 18 home games this season. They have an average attendance of 20,437 this season (capacity is 20,562).
• The Cavaliers had four players score 15 or more points - James (19), Gooden (21), Ilgauskas (16) and Hughes (21). The Cavaliers are now 8-0 at home when three or more players score 15 points or more.
• The Cavaliers are now 12-2 at home when leading after three quarters.
• The Cavaliers are now 4-0 in the month of January and are riding a four game win streak. They have now won seven of their last eight.

NETS NOTES:

• Mikki Moore had 18 points and recorded a season-high 10 rebounds for his first double-double of the season.
• Jason Kidd led the Nets with six assists. He also added 11 points, nine rebounds, one blocked shot and one steal.
• Vince Carter scored 18 points and added seven rebounds, three assists, one blocked shot and one steal.

We're getting on quite a roll, Z and Gooden getting hot at the same time? That's good but I can't force myself to use the word "gel" just yet :chuckles:

This win, paired with a Detroit loss, puts the Cavaliers at the top of the Eastern Conference with its 21-12 record. Quite impressive. It'll be a tough road trip, but we can beat anybody.

Here's to the Cavs going undefeated on the trip!

Or, well, I'll take .500
