Did it even look bad? I watched the replay and was floored people were talking out for the year.

I get that someone landed on his knee but it really didn't look that bad at all.

I was more shocked that his inner circle was prepping for doomsday, like they already knew.

Given our recent acquisitions, bring these cupcakes on.

I want them to be healthy so there's no excuses when we beat them again.

Can we send the former Browns training staff over there? They need some Staph assistance...

Sounds like sprained MCL (grade 2) and bone bruise. He's probably out 4-6 weeks.

Not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things. It is a painful injury but it's likely he's back in time for the post-season.

Even if Durant is gone and the Warriors are toast, there is no guarantee we can take out the Spurs or even the Rockets. It's gonna take a lot to win the title, it always does.

There is never a guarantee for anything.. and the good thing is Lebron who is the heart, soul and Leader of our Team is not taking anything for granted. He will push the Team as hard as he can to be as good as it can be.

We have a good chance against anyone coming out of the West especially with the Dwill and Bogut additions.

Lebron has gotten the Mentality "We cant control who we face in the Playoffs but we can play as hard, deciplined and unselfish as we can and we have a chance against anybody"

Winning a Title is never "Easy" .. To make it healthy to the Finals alone is a tall Task for any Team.. The RS is a grind.

If we are healthy though i like our chances against anybody. But we cant get complaceant.. but i think Lebron will keep us from beeing satisfied.

IF we meet GS in the Finals they will have Durant playing reasonably well, otherwise they won't make it to the Finals.

Given that the first round should be very easy for them, they can ease Durant back in during the second and third rounds and that will give him some time to get his groove back.

I kind of want to play them again because this would be the first time in NBA history that two teams met three years in a row.

Depends on if they keep the 1 seed. Because if they end up playing OKC or Memphis Golden State is going to get pretty bruised and beaten up by the time that series ends with their poor depth.

I'd compare to like Chicago for us in Round 1. Not a loss, but not exactly a fun time.

Yeah, I just thought of that. If they fall to the 2 seed they are going to have a really rough road through the playoffs. Be really interesting if they fall to 2 and OKC is still at 7, Westbrook gets to try to knock them off with an injured Durant. LOVE to see that series.

That's where I'm at. Has nothing to do with this "beat the best to be the best" bullshit mentality. Fuck that.

But as somebody with an interest in history, I really dig the idea of being part of something "big", which in this case would arguably be the best NBA rivalry ever. Pretty cool for two teams that have largely been negligible in the overall landscape of the league. And as touched upon in other threads, the rivalry extends beyond the basketball court and is intrinsically tied in the cultures of two cities that couldn't be more different.

I hope he comes back healthy. I'm counting on him wilting to Lebron per usual. The Warriors beating us with Durant in a suit and him trying to get in on the champagne celebration is something I can actually picture. It would perfectly sum up his career.
