"Cavs Win 2012 Draft Lottery", Predicts Donut

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
That donut looked like the driest, tasteless, disgusting donut ever :chuckles:

I really hope Nick brings this thing home. I'm good with #1 or #2...

It's not possible for the Cavs to go any lower than six. This has been discussed, answered, and simply re-hashed to death. Do yourself a favor and read up on some of the quality posts on the forum or even Wiki the NBA Draft lottery.

Basically in a nutshell, every team has a chance at the #1, #2, and #3 overall pick. Then, depending on who wins those spots and "jumps ahead" of the other teams, the predetermined orders kick in based on standings and tie-breakers. Pre-lottery the Cavs are slotted at #3. So, if a team below them (say Toronto) wins a spot in the top three and the Cavs don't, the Cavs will end up at #4. Since they are at #3, it would take three teams below them (New Jersey, Toronto, and Golden State) to all jump them pushing them all the way to #6. They cannot go any lower than that.

I know if they get skipped they are garunteed a top 3 pick. Look at last years lottery. The cavs had i think a 2.8% chance at 1 with the Clippers pick. The actual cavs pick had a 19.9% chance and it got the 4th spot. I joined this forum about 3 days ago. Maybe even 2. Im in Brazil right now, though i live in KC, and times flying. idk what happened when. thank you for clarifying they cant go over 6, instead of saying i dont know anything. Now i understand.

On this board, when new members say something stupid... we automatically assume they are stupid and flame them. Because 99.9999% of the time they are.

I remember my first thread I created. I got flamed by theStereo almost immediately. I thought "Man this guy is a fucking dick."

Then I realized I was just a dumbfuck.

Now i know not to post anything sarcastic.........

Once you're here awhile longer... you will see how frustrating it is to deal with first time posters who really don't know their head from their ass.

It isn't you. It's that we jump to conclusions with first time posters. My apologies from the board to you.

Welcome to the board. If you stick with it you will find it is one of the best forums on the internet. Just be careful because people will see your join date and lack of posts and automatically assume your sarcasm isn't sarcasm unless you make it more obvious.

That is true, as I am one that took a while to get use to how things roll here. I learned the hard way. Stick with it, Rook (TrueCavsfan)..you'll be fine.

I love the PCH-style ending there, with them rushing in, balloons and all. :chuckles:

I'm kinda thinking about buying a cake donut on the way home and eating it during the lottery drawing.

Given the history of donuts around the Cavs franchise, this only seems fitting that Cleveland would win such a contest.

Hopefully, it is a good omen. :hyper:

Just posting this for good luck:

(dabbles away tear)

We run RCF something like The Spurs. We dont give our rookies ANY respect and the MODS are so busy loving on each other, that they leave it up to us veterans to really police the locker room and do a little rookie hazing.

It makes a veteran like me proud to a couple vets take this young pup under their wing and give him a stern talking to.

Not even the Stephen Jackson of message board posting can come here and derail what we have going on.

There is just a culture of message board excellence. You either do your research and spell check before posting, or you end up like the infamous Heath aka RCF's own Jimmy Hoffa.

I still dont know what the mods did with his body...

No shit, me too! I was actually thinking about doing that! Well...maybe two, for good luck?

Ok, so TBJ's donuts predicted a win, and then I literally told myself "I'm gonna run the ESPN draft simulator maching one time, and that's my official prediction"

Wouldn't ya know it, Cavs on top at #1  followed by Hornets at 2 and Bobcats at 3.

All signs pointing in the right direction...
