he issue is that he is more of a microwave scorer right now. Not quite stable yet, and if he can't score he doesn't do a lot of other things on the floor. Still very young though. It might have been different on another team.

Completely disagree about Furkan having more potential. Well, at least in the NBA.
He needs to bulk up and enlarge to be in any kind of serious discussion.his body is barely a Euroleague body.

Cedi at his age was much, much more impactful. The age argument holds no bearing. Furkans stats @ Euroleague were abysmal... let’s face it.
I did not intend to make an age argument. I wrote it before. He should be happy if he can get regular minutes at some point. Furkan has a one dimensional game and he cannot even show what he has because he is not in nba shape. Whereas Cedi is already a solid starter, very versatile player with all-star potential. There is literally no comparison. I was trying to make the point that he needs to get into NBA shape to do other things on the floor and to show what he offers.

He is going to be a joy. A shot of light in the dark Cleveland basketball abyss.

The mystery of how this dude didn't take all of Hood's and Clarkson minutes last year as the playoffs went on continues to grow.

Wasn't even a difficult decision, missing the odd open 3 should not have lead to the brains ignoring all the positive aspects he brought.

Is anyone surprised at how well he has started the season?

Wished Osman got in during that bad stretch in 2nd quarter. It will definitely be fun to watch Cedi and Sexton together more as the season goes on.

I have two questions: why didn’t Cedi got those minutes last year, and why didn’t Dwayne Haskins play over JT Barrett.

All I can do is sit here and shake my head.

Also, LeBron walked away from this team for the Lakers??? Really??

It’s a deep talented team like Philly that has pure cap space to sign him that should be scratching their head.

LeBron, Embiid, and Simmons. Plus guys like Saric, Covington, and a developing Fultz. Lord.

Or deep team that could have done a S&T like Utah, HOU, or Denver.

There were many doable situations that would have been far better than CLE or LA if it was purely a basketball decision.
