Going through the Rolodex of white dudes...

John Havlicek.
Someone refresh me on how we got cedi. Drafted. Thought I read that koby was the front office person who wanted him the most
If that is true koby had a good eye on zizic. Wish we would focus more on the euros. They seem much more polished than the one and dones

Pretty sure David Griffin really liked him. We traded for his rights during draft night.

Griffin compared him to Trevor Ariza. Right now it looks like he can be far more than that.

Yeah, I’m not sure he compares that well to other white dudes. Seems like a dumb basis for a comparison. He seems like an athletic, 2 way, small forward who has the potential to be an all-star, and maybe more than that.

It seems needlessly arbitrary to describe him by comparing his ceiling to other white players.

He really seems like a point forward and while a lot of us thought he had a special advantage due to size at sg, he seems to have no trouble at SF as far as strength/length and he seems to have better foot speed than many 3s.

I think you have to compare him to Larry Bird or LeBron. He's just such a surprisingly complete player and there just aren't that many examples of those at his position. Maybe he only gets to be 3/4 of one of those guys, but a poor man's Larry Bird is a hell of a player.

His biggest weakness is prob his handle and that is still better than most 2s. Maybe his vertical? Usually you have a longer list even for an older sophomore player.

I've been really impressed with his ability to score . I just wouldn't have thought it would come that easy. He looks like an NBA vet

I think his advantage would be even more magnified at the SG position. He is a pretty efficient post up player and I really want to see him make plays and attack from the post. Not just getting the ball at the top of the key and finding cutters; but actually backing down PGs/SGs from the post and then making the correct play after the defense collapses. Again, I don't see it against SFs who are stronger. He can bulk up, but it will have an effect on his quickness I fear...and I think quickness at his point is far more important.

Last season if you remember, I said that I wanted Cedi to be our PG of the future. We drafted Sexton, so it's not going to transpire, but hopefully, we see him become the PG of the 2nd unit once Sexton joins Hill in the starting lineup. I'd like to see us stagnate Cedi and have him lead the 2nd unit with Zizic.

So far so good. The real challenge for him will begin, when the teams are starting to adapt to his play. Right now he is like a big fat elephant who dropped from the sky, directly in the living room.

Beside some Cavs fans, nobody really paid attention to him. This will change with the time.

How can you stop anything in this league? this why it's so vital that he is also a playmaker.

Teams will start to switch his PnRs I guess. That's why Zizic should play with him a bit. Cause I don't trust TT to do very well in the post.

this game will be watched live in Turkey so he probably will be nervous and excited. This used to happen to Hedo a lot so we could expect some mistakes from him.

What time is it in Turkey? Will there be a lot of people watching? Did someone inform Cedi of this?
