I mean Frye is somehow actually a solid rim protector and on ball defender against big's but when you play GS your big's have to be solid VS guards as well and closing out to the perimeter and from what I remember he was extremely forgettable in that aspect. Dude still had an amazing playoffs tho but there's no surprise him and Love we're neuralized VS GS. To be a big VS GS yo have to have quick feet and score. Frye just didn't have it that series. And that's cool. The only players we really NEEDED to be effective for every single series were JR Kyrie and Bron and TT. IMO they all were. Dudes like Frye, and Love space the floor wether they shoot 9/10 or 1/10 so it doesn't matter if they actually hit
It was overlooked since we rolled through the East, but TT wasn't very effective against Detroit and Toronto.
He was awesome against Atlanta and Golden State though. Basically, if you're not LeBron and Kyrie, it all comes down to favorable match ups.
