And they want to trade THIS guy. From a dysfunctional team. Spare me. Cavs are lucky to have him.

Just shows how stupid and dysfunctional the front office, coaching staff and analytics department is, shows a total lack of understanding of modern NBA basketball.

They play TT over him, a pea brain useless player that kills any spacing you have on offense and plays below average defense, over Frye whos a 7 foot player whos a knock down 3pt shooter, makes zero sense.

If you start Frye at Center at the start of the year, work on his defense and put an emphasis on the rule of vertically, I guarantee it he'd had a better defensive impact than Tristan Kardashian will ever have, people who say that Frye can't switch and guard small players are right, the problem is Tristan can't too, at least Frye completely changes your offense and should provide better rim defense because of his length.

Agree 100%. I literally could have posted the same exact words you did. Been telling my buddies and whoever else wants to listen the same exact thing. If Frye would just go straight up with his arms straight up on D... that would be good enough. Moz was good at that. The floor stretching Frye provides as a 7 footer is priceless and way underutilized. He should be starting at the 5.

The entire team is rallying right now to try and make sure Frye doesn’t get traded. Bad things might happen if he is.

From Vardon:

Kevin Love said:
"Seems like every time he takes the floor something good happens," Kevin Love told cleveland.com. "I always use the word consummate pro. But he's been that guy for us, that savvy veteran and being a stretch-5 just makes it work."

"You can't put into words how important that is to have in a locker room," Love said. "He's the same level as R.J. (Richard Jefferson) or James Jones. He's so valuable and I'm lucky because he's right here. He's one of those guys that's a sounding board for anybody.

"Just a veteran who has been there and done that. He's been on winning teams and seen it all and almost done everything in his career. He's a guy that we need. You can't put a marker on how much value that brings."

Isaiah Thomas said:
"I didn't know who that was jumping like that. I thought it was Jeff Green," Isaiah Thomas said with a smile. "For him to come out of nowhere, that was big. You had Channing with the putback dunk. You had Kyle (Korver) with the off-the-dribble move to the basket. So, a lot was working for us. That was fun to see guys getting up and enjoying the game and just having fun together."

Kyle Korver said:
"Channing adds so much to our team and how we play," Korver said. "We've all got strengths and weaknesses, but there's like a spirit about him that when he's out there, the balls moving and he can shoot and spaces the floor and he's talking. He's really excited or he's really mad at himself. It's just energy though, like emotions, good emotions that we need."

Lue hates him. Don’t know why. He’s rsther play anyone else than Frye.

Here’s what will happen; they’ll start playing him, they’ll win games. He’ll then decide Frye’s not one of the reasons they are winning, so he’ll throw him back on the bench.

We’ve seen this before.

I don't think Lue hates Frye. I think Lue knows Frye, Calderon and probably Cedi are the only guys he can leave in warm-ups without them poisoning his locker room.

I didn't think I could love him more, but then I read that article.

Start him in Love's spot and play him starter minutes. He's seriously our second best player right now. Let Zizic be backup center.
