We have won back-to-back games against New Jersey.

Over the last 3 games against the Nets, LBJ has averaged 31.3 pts, 8.7 boards and 8.3 assists.

Gooden got his 6th double-double of the season Saturday against Orlando with 14 and 12. In his last two against NJ, he has averaged 17 pts (13-17 shooting) and 7.5 boards in 27.5 minutes per game.

We are 5-1 on the first night of a back-to-back this season, including 2-1 in road games.

Since December 1st, Andy V leads all NBA reserves in boards per game (8.8). He ranks 4th in the NBA this season in that category (6.2).

UNKNOWN FACT: Damon Jones played 1 season with the Nets (98-99), playing in 11 games and averaging 4.5 points.

Coach Brown is well aware of the Cavaliers' rocky road trips so far this year. After the implosion in the second quarter against Orlando last Saturday, the team's already dismal away record fell to 3-7. Dig deeper and the story is even more telling. The Cavs average 12.2 fewer points on the road and their field-goal percentage drops almost 8 percentage points. Still, Brown is keeping himself and the team focused on the smaller picture.

``It's critical for us to win the next game. I can't really speak for what we have after that, but I know for us it's critical to beat our next opponent (the New Jersey Nets),'' he said. ``I know that's how I look at it and I'm trying to convey to my team we got to take this one day at a time, one game at time.''​

There isn't much info yet on this Wednesday game, and the Nets play tonite. Therefore, game notes and info will have to come Tuesday and Wednesday morning.

I will have a more tweaks, but this took me about an hour to clean up and I have some things to do for work....

I say we bench LeBron for both and let him get his legs..we're going to lose regardless..they're both as good as or better than we are so...we'll jack a combined 68 threes in both of them and take a total of 8 foul shots..

Don't sweat it. Detroit should be tired...they will only be playing on 4 days rest. Hopefully Sheed is renting out The Velvet Dog on Wednesday Night, for a Pistons Only party.

This is a game we can dominate in the hustle areas. Crashing the boards, forcing turnovers and the like. NJ can be had on the boards, whilst there are some turnovers in them. From this we can push the tempo offensively which will suit Larry and LeBron just fine. Conversely if we struggle in these areas, the Nets will run amuck!
