Cleveland Browns 2019 Season

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
@thedarkness2332 Did I ever say Kareem Hunt wasn't good? I've repeatedly said he's good. I'm not taking the side that he isn't good. I'm only saying that he's not a top 5 RB in the league. He's not better than the guys like Saquon, Gurley, Zeke, Kamara, DJ (or take one of those guys out that you disagree with and replace them with Bell, Mixon, McCaffrey, Gordon or whoever you like.)

I've never argued about a 40 time having anything to do with a RB's ability. I've only said that if you want to talk about Kareem's positive attributes, there are so many thing he does well that you don't need to reach and claim one of the reasons he's a top 5 back in the league is that he's got "breakaway speed." His speed is not an attribute that sets him apart from other backs in the NFL.

I've argued that his breaking of tackles is his best attribute. Repeatedly. He has terrific balance and seems to stay on his feet where others wouldn't--like in the first highlight you posted.
I guess, if it isn't breakaway speed, then what is it that makes you feel as though he's a tier below the others?

Because I think he's pretty clearly a Top 10 running back in the NFL based on both talent and performance. I think you could argue with guys being better pass-catchers, and that's fair, but he's no slouch in this department either.

As a rusher alone, he's probably top 3 in the players you listed.

A good offensive line will make any RB serviceable (PIT, NE, Shanhan/Reid offenses, NO) that's my argument. Stud RBs like Barkley just don't matter as much as they used to.

I feel like this simplifies a complex phenomenon. Like if Hyde doesn’t get traded and gets the majority of the Kitchens-called snaps last year, we don’t go 5-2. The threat of getting that explosive back in space is a hard-to-quantify item, but I’ve come around to thinking it’s a pretty big deal.

The downside to letting Hyde get free is what, a 20 yard gain at most? The downside to letting Chubb/Barkley/etc. get free is however many yards to the goal line. It’s not probable but that possibility and how it can turn a game, has to be accounted for.

So that serviceable RB might do well to not screw up, make his blocks, see the hole, time his chips and check-downs, and all of that is very important, but we saw what happened when we went from serviceable to pretty good at the RB position, and that was a key ingredient to the turnaround.

I am scared about how much Patriots tickets are going to cost.

Anyone have the hookup for 8? Hahaha. But seriously, anyone?

I know this isn't the appropriate place, but yes... if anyone got the hookup on some cheaper tickets, I'm your guy. No matter which game it is. DM me. The pixie cut wife would appreciate less money spent. Beers on us!

Buy 16 and re-sell half of them for big gainz.

For reasons I can't get into, I'm going to certainly have some ability to have some insider Browns knowledge this season.

I don’t want to speak out of turn...but get us the new uniforms and @Randolphkeys will give you another golden penis.

What’s her haircut got to do with anything? What am I missing?

Is there a swingers angle here?

With great power comes great responsibility. I know how the organization feels about leaks. Hook us up when you can, but I totally get it if you tread lightly.
