Cleveland Browns 2022 Regular Season

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
big win going into the bye, with all the focus on Miami.

They have to be desperate against Miami, and they have to have the defensive secondary prepared. They can score on Miami, but the pass defense needs to be at the same level as they were against the Bengals. If they are, there is a W to be taken there, for sure.

Tampa isn't good. Buffalo is Thanos, abandon all hope there.

2-5 - I think it’s better this way. Let it go early in the season and don’t get caught up in that “if these 3 cellar dwellers win and the Bills lose at home against the surging Jags, we only need to sweep our division to make the playoffs.” I give the Browns credit for inventing new ways to create absolutely crushing levels of disappointment. It’s a clinic.

Relax. Watson will come in without pressure and can knock the rust off without being the guy who made us miss the playoffs. It’ll get fun again when he returns and we see some remarkable plays but don’t have to win.

Our defense can’t be consistently good with this coordinator. It’s not possible. And we don’t have the interior DL to make it complete. We will not get them this year either. Emerson looks good. JOK will have his games. Ward will not end up the worst CB in the league.

Just step back and take it with a grain of salt. We mortgaged the future on Watson, and a casualty of that was the 2022 season. Let’s get him acclimated and see what we got, and enjoy the process and the players who play well and give a damn.
The Browns are the best team in the NFL.

My concern now is…will the team use the bye week properly, or will the young guys party and come back ill prepared for Miami?

Win that game and things get interesting…still skeptical but cautiously hopeful

Finally, we play up to our potential.

We should have been sitting in the catbird seat for owning this division. If tonight's performance isn't a mirage then we need to win two games before Deshaun gets back, then run the table after he's back. We have the talent. The question is do we have the attitude and collective intelligence to make up the ground we lost when we pissed away 3 or 4 winnable games? I hope so, they owe it to the fans and to themselves.

Fuck punting on a season.

I'd like to believe the D has turned the corner for good this season. If that's true, get healthy during the bye and we're definitely good enough to beat Miami and Tampa.

Hard to know what to expect when Watson comes back but feels like we will definitely have a shot if the rust is minimal.
