So what is everyone's predictions for the season for the QBs?

Mine would be Osweiler wins the job out of camp over Kessler and starts 14 games, and goes like 6-8/5-9 with like 3,000 area in yards and 20 TDs to 12 INTs, aka nothing amazing, but not horrible either. Kizer gets the last two games of the year since we are out of contention.

Oh this is easy. Kessler wins the job, is concussed by week 4. We see Brock for a week or two, it's not good. Kessler is back for the next 8 games, at this point Browns are 5-9 and out of contention. Kizer gets the last two starts depending on how Cody looks. Browns finish 5-11.

If Kessler starts the season and is taken out by injury or bad play he will not return at all.

Look, anyone who posts here, patting themselves on the back for alleged accurate predictions who didn't 1) make those predictions on this board, and 2) make a bet or something to draw attention to it, is going to - deservedly - get massive crap.

I don't think Osweiler will start. I also don't think any QB that does start is winning more than 2-3 games after 14.

WERE Osweiler to start and put up the numbers you described, that would be a career year with a suspect offense even with middling numbers like that. I'd be absolutely blown away.

I can't see Brock making 5 consecutive starts. He's fucking terrible.

Starting after the time I squeezed out a sopping wet sponge onto his bald spot when I was 6 or so, my dad used to kick me out of the room temporarily for "good luck" if I was acting like an asshole and the Browns were sucking and then let me back in whenever they'd start doing well again back in the 80's and 90's.

He died right before they moved.

Not sure how this relates, but I think the sponge story is pretty good.

If the line is as good as they're billed, I'm not so sure Kessler will be hurt that quick. If he's regularly holding onto the ball too long to be hit, Hue will likely move-on from him. Hue likes his QBs to get the ball out fairly quick.

I predict Osweiler gets cut. Because he's terrible. And anyone who predicts he starts 14 games for us and puts up 20 TD's is delusional.

That is a fantastic story. The old stadium was amazing. I don't want to hijack the thread but some great memories: 1) a drunk scrawny Dave-lookin' Steelers fan tried to walk through the old Dawg Pound and Browns fans ripped off his jersey and burned it. The security guards were just laughing. 2) not sure if you ever lived in CLE before FL? But you used to be able to bring in coolers of your own food. 3) I would leave every game sopping wet in beer as a 8-10 year old b/c people were throwing shit all the time. 4) I learned to say "fuck" a lot from that point on and set myself up to accept failure.

Good times. Now going to Browns/Buckeyes games as a 30 year old, spending $100+ just inside the stadium on beer/food, waiting in long ass lines for the bathroom (especially now OSU w/them serving beer. If you go to a game and feel a piss coming, you better get your ass to that line).

Fuck Osweiler. Kessler all the way until we are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs and if Kizer is ready, get him some game time.
