Cleveland Browns Quarterback Position

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Davis is Colt Mccoy all over again. Short, noodle arm but smart.

If they go QB with the first pick next season it needs to be with the understanding the kid plays immediately and is allowed to play through his mistakes all year no matter how dark it gets.

The bridge veteran approach just promotes QB controversies and splits the locker room between guys that want the vet and guys that want the young guy.

There is always going to be a learning curve whether you watch or play, so let him get it out of the way early so we can actually start building towards something.

Huh? When has the Browns locker room been split between a vet QB and a young QB? Certainly not since Johnny has been here....

Davis has shown more in his 1 game + 2 drives than good ol' Johnny boy has shown in 2 years..
I can't tell if this is just your anti-Johnny bias, but you can't possibly believe this as true can you?

Trolling aside...if we're just considering overall potential, I saw some rare play-creating abilities from Manziel this year that made me want to see more of him, while on the other hand I haven't seen anything out of Davis that made me think he could even be a serviceable backup.

I saw enough from JFF to think he can be a backup QB. But I want him and his sideshow gone and a new QB in the draft. One that is over 6 feet tall.

I don't know why the Browns miss so bad on the basics. If you are going to draft a short QB, he needs to have Michael Vick athelticism. If you are going to draft a 30 year old quarterback, he better have a cannon, above-average accuracy, and unflappable decision-making.

And none of them should have personal life red flags. If they have any red flags, then don't draft them. THEY ARE RED FLAGS. That's why they have that name.... Christ...

Just piecing things together...the only way we're going to see Johnny at QB is if Davis gets hurt or Pettine gets fired. Goodbye Mike.

Why? Pettine has said, even when he named Davis the starter for Cincy, that he's open to starting Manziel again.

Calling it now. He'll show "just enough" to where they won't draft a QB and it'll set us back more years..

Does anyone have Manziel's address?

Someone should send him a case of champagne, a trio of drug addicted prostitutes and "top shelf" cocaine. I'll have TMZ waiting outside.
