* Cleveland closed out the break going .500 on mini west coast trip, losing a heartbreaker in Utah, then taking a strong one in LA on the second night of a back-to-back. They went 5-3 in February. Role players have been stepping up.
* Toronto is on a hot streak, pulling away from .500 by winning 10 of their last 12. They are aided by strong play of their star, Bosh, good point guard play from both Ford and Calderon, and solid all-around basketball from their team.
-: lyXo's Keys to the Game :-
* Chris Bosh has always given us trouble. Perimeter big men with speed an athleticism are a nightmare to guard. We'll have to throw everything we have at him, but our best bet will be a focused Anderson Varejao. We need to make sure we have a hand in his face for every jump shot taken, a stiff arm pushing him in the post, and hopefully we can force him to defer.
* Make Bosh work on the other end too... we're talking to you, Drew Gooden. He has the potential to score 20+ or shrink away... let's hope it's the former... with the trade deadline tomorrow, we might see some inspired play from Drew B Good....
* LeBron has his highest scoring potential against the Raptors. We need another one from him this game. The Raptors know this, and will try their best to stop him... but we need to demoralize them, and LeBron dropping huge numbers will certainly do the trick.
* Going back the previous point... When LeBron dropped his career high along with a triple double... we lost the game. The supporthing cast needs to step up as well, Sasha needs to keep the bench chugging, and we need decent all around games from the rest of the team. If we can shoot 45% as a team, then I think we have it in the bag.
Final note: Both teams have things to prove. Both teams are on a streak. It's the first game out of the break... which team will come out on top? Mark Stein says the Raptors, but LyXo says the Cavs...
Nailbiting fever! 110-109 CAVS.
