Cavs guards Eric Snow and Shannon Brown and Clippers center Paul Davis all attended Michigan State…Brown and Davis were teammates while at Michigan
State…Clippers guard Brevin Knight spent four seasons with the Cavaliers from 1997-98 to 2000-01. KEYS TO THE GAME: Zydrunas Ilgauskas scored 12 of his team-high 25 points in the fourth quarter as the Cavs pulled away from the Clippers…The Cavs defense held the Clippers to 20 points on just .350 (7-20) shooting in the final period…Damon Jones scored all nine of his points in the fourth period.

TURNING POINT: The Cavs trailed by one point with 7:14 remaining in the fourth before going on a 10-0 run to build a nine-point lead they would not surrender.

CAVS HIGHLIGHTS: LeBron James tallied 22 points, five rebounds, eight assists and a season-best six steals in 36 minutes…Drew Gooden paced the Cavs early, totaling 12 points and 12 rebounds in the first half alone on the way to an 18-point, 17-rebound effort…Ira Newble provided a spark in the fourth, contributing four points and seven rebounds in the period.

• The Clippers have lost five straight gamesin Cleveland, last winning in Ohio
on March 10, 2002 in a 95-78 victory over the Cavs...The Clippers haven’t won a season series vs. Cleveland since the 2001-02 season.
• Cleveland has not been a friendly place for the Clippers, as Los Angeles has lost 10 of their last 12 games in Cleveland.
• The Cavs handed L.A. their second loss of the season on Nov. 11, 2007 behind 25 points from Zydrunas Ilgauskas and despite 28 points by Sam Cassell.
• The Cavs swept the season series from L.A. with a 94-77 win in Cleveland on Feb. 7, 2007...Elton Brand led the Clippers with 21 points, while Ilgauskas and Sasha Pavlovic led the Cavaliers with 16 points each...Tim Thomas grabbed eight rebounds and Sam Cassell had eight assists for the Clips.
• The Cavaliers defeated Los Angeles 104-92 in the first meeting of last season at STAPLES Center on Jan. 13, 2007...LeBron James led Cleveland with 28 points...Corey Maggette led L.A. with 22 points and Elton Brand had 10 rebounds... Shaun Livingston and Sam Cassell led the Clippers with 6 assists.
• The Cavaliers win in Los Angeles on Jan. 13, 2007 was their first victory in L.A. since Jan. 18, 2002.
• The Cavs sweep of the series in 2006-07 was the first time Cleveland has swept the Clippers since 2002-03.
• The Clippers will be backing up after playing the Timberwolves in Minnesota on Friday night.
• Starters, Chris Kaman and Corey Maggette are questionable with flue like symptons.

^^^ Reggie Evans should have been knocked out...that stuff warrants a beat down.

Playing the clippers makes me think of Shaun Livingston and his knees...that was messed up.

Our bigs get involved and stay out of foul trouble and we can make this a competitive game without our 6th man (one of them) and our starting SG. Let's show our depth.

I'm also of the opinion that if LeBron plays, it's a win..If he doesn't, it's a definite loss..
