That's really great to hear. But Shai Gilgeous Alexander is going to going to be great.

Sexton is going to be better. I'd make a large wager Sexton has a better career.
I just think he has a higher ceiling than SGA. But maybe SGA is just another Kentucky mis-used guard?

SGA was weird...he was always 12-14 the entire year...then in the last week I swear to god every team from 6-11 was trying to smokescreen that they wanted him maybe to get some kind of asset in a trade or something from the Clips? Like I really think that Sexton is clearly the higher rated prospect going into the season. Not that it means anything but I think Sexton will always be just at least 1 tier ahead of SGA.

Shai looks good and I am actually higher on him after summer league. I thought he didn't use his full athleticism in college and that appears to be true. He has such a smooth game and was better at getting past guys than I thought he would at that level. We will see how it shakes out, but I think he still has another gear.

Collin is going to be really good though. Let's hope Ty Lue takes up from where Avery left off.

I doubt Colin turns much into anything. Shia blows this dude away.

Thought he was intimidated by NBA size and quickness this game and he still scored 14. I think he will do it needs some time to adjust. Shooting was much better after he got the Jitters out.

Agreed. Overall, I was very encouraged by this game. It's almost like you can see Sexton learning and getting better while he's out there. I bet we see him get comfortable in no time. His body has NBA speed but his mind needs to adjust to the changes.

I believe that Boston had the best perimeter D in the league last year. Meant to stop a guy like Collin.

Spot up shots good, looked too rushed on pull ups

So he's going to be the starting PG for a Cavs championship?

I like your optimism!
If it wasn’t for lbj kyrie would never be a starting pg for anyones championship team. He made one shot. Would never had the attemp if not for lbj. It will be Irving’s only ring

Needs to attack much quicker in the PnR and not allow the switch to happen. If it does happen, he needs to attack the big defender. He doesn't use his speed yet, and that doesn't make any sense.

He needs to be a creator and create defensive breakdowns.

I liked what I saw. In one game I think he showed enough to start over Hill now.

I didn’t! Hill got the Cavs into their offense at light speed. Sure he’s not a scoring threat but we don’t need him to be.

Hes a professional NBA point guard that plays the game the right way!
Sexton can learn from hill until the trade deadline. We should get good value for hill and Korver That is what is exciting. We already have a good young core. But we will be able to add young talent or pucks with hill and Korver. Solid players with good contracts.
They are the reason that tanking for the Atlanta pick is silly imo
