It is my pleasure to announce that our friend @Jordan has successfully defended his thesis this afternoon, which he so graciously invited me to witness, and will have conferred upon him a well-earned and august Philosophy Doctorate.

I minored in Philosophy, so I can confirm this is interesting stuff.

It came in handy exactly one time when one of my friends who was a Business major was making fun of me for being an English major with a Philosophy minor in front of a group of girls.

A girl said, “oh yeah? So what’s your philosophy?” and I replied, “fuck first, ask questions later.”

She really enjoyed that.

Turns out, I caught herpes from her.
