Custom 97 Ford Ranger

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm gonna have to unload my TL soon. Not appropriate for hilly Pennsylvania.

Shit bottoms out here in FL, would be brutal there. What kind of SUV should I get?

Looking at the VW Tiguan for the wifey. Supposed to be the best midsized SUV for the money from what I've read. They have the same turbo engine as my Audi (although not nearly as fast, with what I've done to mine) and are a pretty damn good looking SUV... much more aggressive than alot of the minivan-looking crossovers you see out there now. Also, you're not going to go from that torquey V-6 in your TL to a stripped down Hyundai or Ford SUV without feeling miserable everytime you mash on the gas pedal to merge on the highway. Best go for the turbo, BRAH! Plus you can add a performance chip to these bad boys for $500 and get 30-35 more HP, while still getting ~27 MPG highway without any impact on reliability. Turbo FTW!

We're actually test driving this bad-boy Saturday.

...Now, if you're looking to spend more than 20-22K, I'd recommend a gently used Infiniti EX35... quick little V-6 and very aggressive looking. Plus they come with AWD (will help with the Penn winters.)

...Orrrrr, be a man say "fuck the SUV" and get an Audi with Quattro. Just don't get one that sits too low (my A4 has the sport suspension and I still rarely bottom-out here in NC), and you'll be set for the snowy winters.

What do you want for the TL?

Does it come with or without Jigo dick trails?

It comes with the tech package and it's in excellent shape, so I'd start at $28,000.

And yes...of course.

But you say it bottoms out in Florida?

It's about time to start thinking about getting another car, and I've LOVED my BMW. Was looking at Acuras as well as sticking with BMW. I'm not going to be ready for a little while... Haven't started doing heavy research yet...

Look at all you fancy, white, rich people talking about what high end whip you're going to buy next.

For the record, the TL is a FANTASTIC car. I can't imagine having a car in that price range that I'd be as happy with over-all. I'd look into it if I were you. Or I'll meet you half-way in Lakeland, treat you and your wife to dinner at a high end restaurant, and give it to you for $27,000 on the spot.

If you are referring to my PT Cruiser, you might think me a braggart for going to The Sizzler directly afterwards for the all you can eat salad bar.

How do you like the 16 mpg on the highway in a 4 cylinder?

You mean 24 bad-ass screaming miles per gallon.

Are you trying to tell me that the six-year-old used Chrysler I just bought is not a top-performance car? I'm flabbergasted. It's not the Russell Westbrook of family cars, but I don't need the Russell Westbrook of family cars. I walk to work these days. All I need is the Caron Butler of family cars with four doors sitting in my rented garage while I work, waiting for me to go on an occasional family outing. My old Cavalier was a two door, and just a pain in the ass to get a baby in and out of on a daily basis. As long as it doesn't break down like Andray Blatche, my family should be just fine.

I like Deezy's recommendation and that may just be what I go with.
