I hate when people don't read.

The rings are going to be so much more different than the players/coaches.

As far as I can tell it's the same thing, just without/fewer diamonds.

Most teams give out A.B.C. versions of their championship rings to different members and staff....

Usually the players and coaches and front office as well as broadcasters get the A versions...(and the franchise will usually raffle off an A version in like a 2 dollar buy-in charity raffle) Wheras PR people and behind the scenes people get the B and C versions depending on rank etc....

Very unique move though to trickle down into ticket takers and other game day staff...

Has anyone else seen First Take today? They ripped Dan Gilbert apart for not paying JR and brought up the 2010 letter again. What a bunch of fukking bullshit. Even for First Take standards, this hate campaign against Gilbert was ridiculous. Last season Gilbert payed everything to be to able to win a chip unlike some other owners in this league. I know it's First Take and you have to live with their nonsense, but this was so pathetic that I had to post it.

Dan Gilbert the NBA owner? No real complaints. He spends money to excess when he needs to. As a fan, I respect that because few owners will actually do that.

Dan Gilbert the man? He's not a particularly good or likable person and I 100% stand by that. No amount of luxury tax payments or replica championship rings handed out will change that.

Guessing we see the new court relatively early in the season.

If I had to guess, they are going to make the center logo C full and not have the missing piece where the sword runs through. Hopefully they don't change it too much or re-add the skyline...really liked that they were moving away from the 2 tone shit and the skyline.
