Ok this sounds bad:
Derrick Rose and the Cavaliers agreed to a one-year deal for $2.1 million contract Monday after spending the day together, discussing how the team will return to the Finals without Kyrie Irving.

Rose, 28, the 2011 NBA MVP whose career has been hampered by knee injuries, is one his way to the Cavs looking for the first trip to the Finals after eight pro seasons. He's also looking at a potential starting spot in the same lineup with LeBron James, now that Irving has asked for a trade and James is eager to see him off.

Yeah I saw it- I figured that as soon as KI asked for the trade.
LBJ is the biggest drama queen in the NBA- but dude gets you to the finals.
You just live with his shit.

Eh. Maybe LeBron thinks that getting Rose and (maybe Wade soon?) will help lessen the blow of losing Kyrie. Not to mention getting potentially good assets for Kyrie in return.

Its risky and maybe even crazy for LeBron to think that, but what else can you do? Kyrie wants to be the "Kobe lead" of another team.
 
Rose will have to be carefully managed next season... he will need perhaps even more games off than LeBron. I wonder if they discussed a maintenance program to allow him to enter the playoffs as close to fully healthy as possible.
 
Benedict Kyrie is under contract for 2 years.... Deal with it !!!

Let's win a championship !

He is on a one year contract. Just like James. He doesn't need to worry if James won't be here after this year.

I wouldn't beg Kyrie either. What he has in pure scoring, he lacks in defense. I think someone who is above average offensively and average defensively would be equally as good. Guys have to make up for Kyrie's lack of defense, but then screw up their own rotations so someone who isn't afraid to push through screens is going to be a better overall fit. I'm definitely forcing myself to dislike Kyrie. Byrie Irving.

he left his best friend in the world in Miami without telling him as far as i remember. i will never believe lebron is going to stay until he signs. the only thing he's concerned about is putting together/playing for a team that can realistically compete for a title in each upcoming season and i don't blame him.

no player in NBA history has been burdened with having to win a title every single season no matter the competition or who he's playing with for as long as lebron has been burdened with that pressure
