Dion Waiters

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm not convinced Dion has a clear path to a lot of minutes. They like Josh Richardson a lot, and they just invested a lot of money in Tyler Johnson. Justise Winslow eats a lot of wing minutes as well, albeit mostly at the 3.

Might finally be time to unleash PG Waiters since Dragic's only back up is Briante Weber.

I actually read that they signed Dion with the intention of running him at the starting SG spot. Winslow would be manning the SF spot, think that's better suited for him anyway.

We'll see how it goes but yeah, Miami is a weird team. Backcourt is their "weak spot" but they have a solid rotation of guards. Regardless, Dion will have a semi-short leash. More than enough other options to go to at that SG spot if he's not producing.

Yeah, I don't particularly like any of their other guards that much. They just seem to be committed to putting them on the floor.

Miami could end up being the worst team in the league.

Yep, they're one Bosh away from being just that. I think Dion's path to a lot of minutes is defense. Especially if he'll be playing next to Dragic. The question is, will he decide to put his focus there?

could have been a really nice player if he could finish like a normal person or find the open man after he goes past his man(happens frequently).
too bad, he had the tools.

Ball Hard stinking it up on the Miami Heat...boy have things come full circle.
There is a certain poetry. But man does he have a first step on him, such a shame

That video is just mean. You could do that with a bad game for any NBA player, especially up against the Spurs.

But Dion doesn't seem to have the basketball IQ or the mentality/maturity to be anything more than an average backup SG at best. A shame since as some said he has the talent.

Yeah it's only 3 games, but a PER of 3? Guh...

Dion Waiters is finally living his dream & filling in as the next D-Wade on the Miami Heat, the player he always compared himself to.

Who knew that all this time he was actually comparing himself to a 45 year old Dwayne Wade

Why shit on the guy this much?
This.
Dude doesn't have a high basketball IQ. At this point, it's no longer due to inexperience. It wasn't his fault he was drafted early, and at least he is still in the league.
I feel very little for or against him. He's just a young man who used to be a CAVS player, and he has significant limitations. I don't even see what is so polarizing about him...
I have so little hate to give because so much is directed at the Warriors.
