This is tremendous news. Joe is the perfect fit for what we need on this team.

Knows the team defensive system, gives us a low post option, plays well off LBJ, etc. GREAT pick up.

Also how nice will the bench rotations be with Andy at C and Joe at PF.

But will most likely do a 3man big man rotation and go small....So Z and andy starts,Z goes out little over half way of the 1st and 3rd(av plays the whole 1st and 3rd)...Then smith comes in for Z and we go small somewhere down the line...I doubt jj gets mins like he used to when Z went out

I first read the post that said to start Hickson and laughed. Then I thought about it for a couple of seconds, and I kind of think that is a better idea than starting AV. AV is our ONLY backup C and can't play backup C/starting PF at the same time. He would have to play way more miutes then he is used to. I think that I would start Joe, but that most likely won't happen.

You start Varajeo and Big Z. When it's time to substitute Z, you'll just slide Varajeo over to center and put Joe in at PF.

Btw, can't Joe play any C at all?

Mr. Wine and Gold, not to take away from this amazing moment, but do you think thats it in terms of roster moves? As I said, I really think we're losing something by starting Varejao.

Im guessing Sheed is definitely not an option now since thats alot of bigmen to distribute minutes to? And you mentioned Joe might not sign if we were getting Sheed too.
