Yeah he’s pretty bad and his partner on his podcast is even worse.

His partner on his podcast is just there to ask the questions and allow Fedor to go on these long winded answers without any sort of conversation. Fedor goes on Zac Lowe's podcast and he is constantly cutting off Zac Lowe and not having any sort of back and forward conversation. He is so use to not letting the other person talk that when he goes on the Lowe Post, he basically tries to take over and not let Zac Lowe talk on his own podcast.

The meme of Presti hoarding picks is very real. Along with that, they did an excellent job of eating bad contracts (along with some picks), rehabbing the players and then flipping them for more picks. They did this with cp3, rubio, horford... their fringe pickups have been great too (kenrich, Joe etc). Just a very well managed team. Presti might be the best in the league right now

Presti also takes a lot of swings so no one cares when he does miss. Like they paid up to draft Dieng but no one cares because Jalen Williams is a big hit with the next pick.

I could also see Presti getting to a point where his team is good enough that he can just defer all his picks by just trading them for future picks. Then use them for his next rebuild or refresh.

They didn't get lucky. They got gift wrapped SGA and then drafted smartly. It's not just luck. Luck got Dallas luka and they have mismanaged the bejesus out of it. You need to be smart and the luck will find you

It's always easy on a message board to say things like what you quoted. The hard-core diehards are always pro-tank.

But there aren't enough of them to fill up the stands.

Fact is, when a team tanks, ticket sales drop dramatically as does merchandise.

People can say one thing with their mouths but something else with their money and time.

That’s the value of hoarding picks. Nobody drafts a 1.000, but when you make lots of selections it raises the odds of hitting on a few, which is all you need to start building a winning team.

Cavs will have to kill a darling or two this offseason in hopes of going from a good regular season team to an actual playoff team. Tanking is not an option until/unless we ship off Mitchell. Can’t tank with no picks, then you’re just the Brooklyn Nets.

Can't really tank for the next 5 seasons because we don't have control of our picks, it doesn't matter if Mitchell is here or not. If Mitchell is shipped off they will need to get replacements or assets to go after a replacement. Like a Kyrie to Boston type trade would be even worse for this team than it was for that 2018 team. We need get a legit star back for Mitchell or get all draft picks/young players to flip to get a star later.

We will most likely have to take a step back if we trade Mitchell since a star for star trade rarely happens. That might be good for Garland and Mobley's growth though.

If this injury is temporary and Mitchell returns to his mid-season MVP form next year then I feel like we could really have something building around Mitchell though. It felt like we were really humming with Mitchell blending more of the PG role with his explosive scoring ability. If we were able to trade Garland for a SF and Mobley continues his development you could build a really good team around Mitchell. But that's a big IF because we really have no idea what Mitchell's injury means long term and we also don't know the market for Garland on a max contract after his down year this year.

The Thunder got George in the first place cause they had an an attractive piece in Sabonis to move… Whom they acquired on draft night cause they astutely had another attractive piece in Ibaka to move…

They are fantastic at identifying talent via trade or draft….

They’re about 2 years away— more maturity from Chet and being able to acquire a legit 2nd star to pair with SGA….

Window is opening but it’s always a short open…

Missed a few games been busy, but can Mitchell dunk right now? Has he had one dunk since he’s been back?

If you think about the season as a whole, he’s not dunking as much as last year even before the injury.
(I don’t have stats to back this up)

Has he had a monster dunk this year? Last year he had several poster type dunks.

He’s a player who’s game won’t age well in his older years. His athleticism is declining. Seriously think about trading him this off-season
Agreed!

Cavs tried it and it didn’t work out…

You’re gonna lock up a guy to a long, big money, contract with a bad knee and more importantly is not good enough to be a #1 on a title contender…

You’re looking at 55-65 games played (generous ballpark) every season moving forward while losing explosiveness…

Will be disastrous in about a year, 2 for sure…
