This tremendous season has been compared to the legendary 1975-76 Miracle at Richfield team that came out of nowhere to get to Game 6 of the ECF. Lot of parallels: young team with no prior success, balanced scoring, awesome bench, defensive titans, no drama, fun team to support.

There was one other parallel.

The NBA was on CBS back then but the Cavaliers weren't. No national TV games most of the season. The legendary Peter J Franklin was incensed, so he started a "Don't Snub Our Club" protest that culmination in a demonstration at the Coliseum when CBS finally broadcast the climactic Bullets regular season game where we all but clinched the division and took home court for that epic seven game series. (Bullets were defending EC Champs).

NBA on CBS though was one game on Sundays.

Now we have TNT and ESPN / ABC. Have we had one game on those networks? No. They wants the superteams and the LANYs, but all four Laneys stink. Last night - congratulations to the Knicks, they lost by only 20 which was a stellar achievement compared to the other three laneys who lost by 26-35 points. TNT got two awful games featuring laneys and probably got the ratings they deserved for programming that shit.

So the Cavaliers are getting snubbed. The coaches - 29 of them - snubbed the Fro. That ET looking muthafucka snubbed the Fro. The networks snub our team.

The players and insiders and knowledgeable fans know we're good, but as far as official NBA goes we get less respect than Rodney Dangerfield (youtube him youngbloods).

I hope the Commish and the network guys get shit from the fans on All Star Weekend. I hope when any of our players get interviewed by Shaq and Chuck that they ask why TNT is snubbing the Cavaliers. Dont give me that bullshit that the schedules are set; they moved a lot of Pelicans games because Zion is out.

We don't have to take this shit. NBA is coming to Cleveland; I hope our fans let 'em know: you media center coastal biased Laneys can get fucked.

No worries, we are about to have a whole bunch of nationally televised games in about 2 months.
