huh? the schedules really aren't that different; the warriors so-called "sos" is lower mainly because they've played 2 extra games than the cavs and they happened to be against bad teams.26th out of 30 in strength of schedule, and the best team they have beaten is the Raptors lol. Curry having a scorching, amazing start, and an incredibly lucky schedule to start the season.
It's an accomplishment, but man wish our schedule was as easy as theirs or the Spurs to start the season. Ya either that or have Kyrue back, either of those would be swell.
Rose was hurt. Bulls with Rose healthy (I know ots an oxymoron but even at the level hes shown this year) is one of the tougher matchups for GS as its hard to hide Curry on defense with both Butler and Rose and they uave bigs who can score.huh? the schedules really aren't that different; the warriors so-called "sos" is lower mainly because they've played 2 extra games than the cavs and they happened to be against bad teams.
cavs are 6-2 against teams .500 or better while golden state is 8-0, and both teams have played most of their toughest games at home. and no, the raptors are not the best team golden state has beaten. they beat the bulls....the same team the cavs lost against.
acting as though the schedules are worlds apart is just sour grapes.
There's no sour grapes, you're just looking for them. It's factual that they have had one of the easiest schedules in the league, and are now entering a part of their schedule that is literally a joke.huh? the schedules really aren't that different; the warriors so-called "sos" is lower mainly because they've played 2 extra games than the cavs and they happened to be against bad teams.

Not gonna try and derail this thread down this line of thinking too much, but I wholeheartedly disagree. Other than LeBron and the min vet guys, basically every key player on this team was acquire through the draft, or through trades of the guys we got through the draft. Just like Golden State. And really, you should really count LeBron among that group too since he was drafted here and is more a Cavalier than anything else, and will be more a Cavalier than anything else once he retires. All this whining about the Warriors is wearing pretty thin. The Cavs have a long way to go to get on the same level. They need to put the work into their defense and offense.
The Warriors have had 4 pretty good years of continuity and health, but have also changed coaches halfway thru.
They drafted well and made some really good trades while keeping their payroll low. They built the whole thing very organically, really did their homework, and hit on some lesser picks(Klay, Draymond)
We lucked out, unprecedented luck. That's what persuaded Lebron to come back, what got us Love, and allowed us to sign some cheap vets and trade our excess picks for Moz and Shump and JR.
The Cavs are the paid for team. The cavs are the frontrunners who were assembled in one year. The Warriors are the ones who have put in the work.
Fuck the Warriors, I hate them and all, but pretending like the Cavs deserve it and they don't because they are lucky? We are lucky to even be in this position.
Lol the whole bought vs built debate
Yes we are bought
Yes the warriors are bought
And yes the titles will come with an asterisk saying bought
No wait they won't
So let us be bought idgaf
I just don't think saying they are lucky and we aren't is very fair because we wouldn't be in this without a lot of luck. Now the Cavs have to do the work that the Warriors have already done.
