Dwight Howard Saga

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Can't just trade him on impulse. . . you have to keep looking at offers and obviously take one if it's very good (high draft picks/potential), but those are hard to find, especially for a one-year rental. My stance hasn't changed though. Management has to try to do whatever's possible to bring in talent to the team, and I mean that's all they have to do. Not appease him, because he's not very smart. You try to make the best team possible, and if you can't, then last case scenario you trade him. But, as far as these trade requests, player requests, song requests, tell him to shut the hell up and play. He's not a manager, he's not a coach, and he sure as hell isn't a scout.

I love Stan and would absolutely hate to lose him over shitty decisions by Dwight and management, even moreso if after fired, Dwight left anyways. However, if SVG being fired meant max extension, then I'm not sure what to think. I think it's easier to find a good coach then it is to find top 5 talent, so strictly from a business point of view you have to do it, but it would absolutely have to come first.

Even then, it'd still be odd cheering for a team that sacrificed its hardest working member BY FAR, for some immature jackass who can't think for himself.

One thing I learned in life is that stupid people think that other people are on their level of stupidity. That's why stupid people continue to do the things they do that leaves normal people shaking their heads in disbelief.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunning–Kruger_effect

The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which unskilled individuals suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly rating their ability much higher than average. This bias is attributed to a metacognitive inability of the unskilled to recognize their mistakes.[1]

howard is so dumb it's hilarious. honestly, the guy is just clueless. he asks the team to trade for guys like monta ellis, josh smith, and sjax despite all 3 of them being absurdly awful fits with him. he wants one of the best coaches in the league to be fired. etc etc etc

i really don't think he has any idea how to construct a winning team.

That video is fantastic. What a buffoon.

And the LeBron James award goes to Dwight Howard for being by far the biggest ass clown in the NBA in the 2011-2012 season.

Congrats Dwight.

Dwight Howard beat out some stiff competition this year including the 2x winner LeBron James and last years runner up Dwayne Wade, both members of the Miami Heat.

Kind of messed up how he was pumping up the Knicks fans in his own building at the end of the game.

This is rich. I also find myself agreeing with Reggie Miller (commentary for the Bulls/ C's game right now) in that he said he appreciates Ray Allen's professionalism in coming off the bench to better the team, and wish other superstars would follow suit and quit thinking they run things. I'd like to see more of the legends come out to trash some of this childish behavior.

And just for kicks:

I'm pretty impressed with Dwight's lack of acknowledgment in this interview. This is gold. As I have been M.I.A. for almost a year from RCF, this has brought me back. Awesome!

About damn time. I can only harass you on Twitter for so long :p

Hey who liked that Dwight Howard effort last night? Man he went so hard.

What a bitch.

My response any time Dwight Howard is brought up, in anything:

The wheels are a turning. Now Otis attempts some fire control.

"He never asked me; I didn't have that knowledge," Smith said.

"If he did ask he's wrong, and for Stan to address it in public, that is wrong," Smith said.

I think this is all spin. Howard talked to someone on Smith's management team, if not Smith himself. Smith knows it and is covering. When Howard was confronted, after Stan spilled the beans, he had that shit ass grin on his face. All he wanted to do was find out who outed him. He did such a half-assed job of denying it, you could tell he wasn't being truthful.

I think Stan is gone after the playoffs are over. If they are smart, they'd send Howard on his way while they still can. We'll see.

The 2013 and 2014 second-round picks they owe the Cavs keep making me hope they will decide to rebuild earlier than later...

They should have traded that assclown the second he inked in his deal at this years trading deadline.

aw man, send him to the heat for bosh... nash signs with myami and its all over. look at that fuckign team.. nash, wade, james, howard. 82-0
