When your offensive production is based off of isolation jumpshots from your best offenswive player who has to cover for your basically dead point guard defensively and out-jumping people for OREBS, and your defensive game is based upon your 6'9 power forward, I mean Center, protecting the paint while Mike Bibby lets Dick Bavetta take him off the dribble and your defensive rebounding game is again, based on out-jumping people...you're pretty much fucked against Orlando.

I saw this massacre coming a mile away. Wish I would have wagered on it.

But seriously, at least Charlotte played Orlando competitively. They didn't win a game, but they really didn't get blown out either. That game one loss to Orlando was a bigger loss in point differential than all of Charlotte's losses combined.

And I agree with you about Horford. That guy is playing out of position and really needs to come off the bench for Josh Smith. Either Pachulia or Horford needs to be traded.

agreed. it's probably also the end of Mike Bibby (remember him?) and raises serious questions about Crawford's ability to be a key scorer on an elite team.

We have all known the landscape will change dramatically in the next offseason, but Atlanta right now look like the biggest potential losers. a number of teams are ready to pounce and they just don't seem to have the ammo to keep up with them.

I don't think things are truely Woodson's fault though. His biggest problem is his two top players are headcases, and not leaders (Johnson and Smith). This makes for a decent athletic team on paper or in the regular season, but just folds like a card table when things get tough in the playoffs.

This team needs to scrap things while they can, because second round exits are the most they are capable of for the next 5 years. Josh Smith has got to go, I don't think they're going anywhere as him as their future #1 guy, they need see what they can swap him for on the market. I'd also not overpay Joe Johnson for the next 5-6 years, in which you may get 2 or 3 decent years, then overpaying a guy as he starts to really decline (especially with a change in salaries coming). Keep Al Horford, and see what other building blocks you can either find in the draft, or trade for.

Horford is a very good player- you don't move him to the bench, but you do trade Smith for a legitimate center.

I guess I'm the only likes Horford more than Smith. Better shooter, better ball handler, excellent passer for a big, and very, very smart. Smith is a no handles, emotionally fragile, immature kid who can't shoot a lick and has a god awful basketball IQ. I'd much rather have Horford than Smith.

Pietrus is averaging 10 points a game in the playoffs compared to his 9 ppg average in the regular season, man does he back up that cockiness..

I think you need to look up the definition of literally...

And I don't really think of any of the Magic players as douche's like I do the Celtics, I just think they are the biggest bunch of whiners I have ever seen.
