Scouting report: Najera is undersized for a power forward at 6-8 but tough and fairly strong, and as a result is a decent post defender who sometimes guards centers. He moves well enough to defend the pick-and-roll, but isn't nearly fleet of foot enough to play on the perimeter full-time.

In past seasons, Najera would earn easy buckets with energy and hustle, but as he hits his 30s those buckets seem to be vanishing. He still plays incredibly hard, but doesn't quite have the same burst after multiple knee injuries -- something most easily seen by looking at his declining rebound numbers. He's partly made up for it by adding the 3-pointer to his arsenal and transforming himself into a high-efficiency, low-usage offensive player.

Najera is locked into a contract for 3 more years @ 3mil per year. New Jersey wants to salary dump him. There is no way he will ever make the All Star team.

But, New Jersey might take on Wally and TK for him? Possibly Jawad. Jawad and TK are both set to make an ungaraunteed 800K this year, and are expiring. Wally could be signed to a 2 year deal to balance the money.

Although we would be stuck with him for a couple years, he makes under the league average, adds some shakey depth at the PF, would be able to contribute more then Wally TK and Jawad(if nessesary) combined.

Not really the homerun ball, more of a sacrafice bunt, or a hit-by-pitch. But if the offseason draws to a close and we run out of options to trade Wally, Do you think he could help?

I wouldnt mind getting him but he is like AV except shorter and with a 3 point shot.
