I'm thinking about having a fans only party sometime in February. Get a hundred or so of us together and bitch about the Cavs over a few beers. Maybe even have a few media guys on hand to answer questions... I'm laying out the groundwork now but I am taking suggestions for the location. Should probably be someplace between Akron and Cleveland so more people can attend.

I might even be able to get a radio station there to cover it...

Not one suggestion so far? I'm not a Cleveland guy so if you do know of a place I'd really like to hear about it.

winking lizard in lakewood has a bowling alley with its own bar and seating for a good amount of people we could rent out. plus 32oz yeunglings are $4.25

Someplace between Cleveland and Akron? That sounds like Richfield.

How about the Days Inn Richfield on Brecksville Road. That used to be the old Holiday Inn where teams stayed sometimes when playing in Richfield.
They have the facilities.

How lame am I that I looked over at my calendar to see if I had any Cleveland related travel stuff around that time that I could justify being in the area for this. :(

Personally, I like the Richfield idea. Havent made that roundabout coming off 271 to 303 in like 20 years. (8 year old me would hold my breath everytime we completed the ramp and the lights from thwt gym were in front of me) Used to make that drive every game night with my dad right around the time they got divorced and all we had were our season ticket outings 90-91 season.

That drive would be nostalgic. I might cry on one of your shoulders. (Someone hug me right now)

My suggestion is Downtown Willougbhy. We could go to The Willoughby Brewing Company.

Pretty giant bar, with great food and great beer. The Kaiserhof is delish.

Or wait until the summer and all go out to Put-n-Bay.

Somewhere in Independence would probably be good. It's right off 77 and 480, easy access from the Turnpike. Probably the best middle of the road spot.

Why not save this meeting for a game watch in the playoffs with our playoff series vs the Heat in may:)

When I first read this, I thought you were suggested meeting in the middle of the road, which feels appropriate for us.

Wont be able to go to a bar because of my age

But we could hang out in my dorm! just have to keep the the noise down or else the RA will come.
