I think it would be a good move if it were 2006. Dude, Willis is kiling it right now. Why would you give him up for an ailing LT? THe TE's are about the same, but no way at this point I would give up Willis for LT right now. Hell I wouldnt do it if LT becomes healthy again.

Agreed. No reason to think that Willis doesn't keep it up. He is finally healthy, looks to be in the best shape since his days at the U. Where if LT does comeback, there is no guarantee that he gets many touches. SD understands that this could very well be LT's last year and is working Sproles more and more into their offense.

As for the TEs, you get the better receiver. Cooley is Campbell favorite option to check down to and Washington runs a lot of plays for him.

Just got a tempting offer.. I give up Kurt Warner/Chris Wells for Denangelo Williams and Roy Williams.. What do you guys think.

What does your roster look like? If you have a serviceable QB or can pick up someone that is a steal! QBs are a dime a dozen in fantasy football.

Re: Fantasy Football 2009

My backup is mark sanchez. Not stellar but decent. But there are a few decent qbs in free agency. Roy Williams will start for me but I do have chris Johnson and Stephan Jackson at rb. So idk how much Deangelo will be used.

I'd make the move and use one of those backs as trade bait. Also doesn't hurt to have them to play match ups and for byes.

Re: Fantasy Football 2009

That's not what I had in mind... EPSN projections had me +45 lol

Re: Fantasy Football 2009

Yeah this week all my players decided to suck big time.

Re: Fantasy Football 2009

Got an offer Larry Fitzgerald for Chris Johnson.

Players I have...

RBS

S. Jackson, D. Williams and R. William

WRS

T. Owens, T. Ginn, R. Williams and B. Berrian.

Re: Fantasy Football 2009

Trade proposal:

I trade:
Knowshon Moreno
Mike Sims-Walker

I get:
Ricky Williams
Greg Jennings

Thoughts?

Other Possibility:

I trade:
Moreno
Sims-Walker

I get:
Steve Slaton
Greg Jennings

I do need an upgrade at RB for a week 7 bye, though Moreno looks to be getting better each week.

BTW I have Chris Johnson too in a PPR league. That said, with Tennessee imploding, I would really think hard about picking up Fitz. I'd probably pull the trigger on that.

Re: Fantasy Football 2009

I need your guys' input on deal that has been proposed to me in another league. I'm 4-0 and 2nd in total points, you start 1 QB, 1 or 2 RB, 3 or 4 WR, 0 or 1 TE, 1 K, 1 D/ST

I was offered Larry Fitzgerald, Braylon Edwards, Donovan McNabb and Kellen Winslow for Vincent Jackson, Brandon Marshall, Jason Campbell and Owen Daniels

My Roster:
Hasselbeck, Cambell
R. Brown, P. Thomas, Lynch, C. Williams
C. Johnson, Colston, V. Jacson, Marshall, Gonzalez, Ginn
Daniels, Olsen
Folk
Bengals

I am leaning towards making the deal but wanted to get some advise.

Thanks

I really like CJ the rest of the year. He has a great schedule to run against. But you need help at WR so I would look to make a deal. If you can make the move to get Slaton and Jennings for Moreno and Sims-Walker, jump all over it. Then try to move D. Williams and R. Williams for Fitzgerald.

So ultimately you're trading 2 legit WRs for Fitzgerald and Edwards? Most of the rest of the deal is sort of a wash, but seeing that you still have Calvin and Colston, I'd probably pull the trigger.
