FANTASY FOOTBALL 2017

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
This was a strange playoff week. In one of my two money leagues, I was playing against Hunt and Gurley. In the other, I have Hunt and Gurley. Kind of bittersweet. :chuckle:

Also, @sportscoach, I probably should have bought you dinner before that raping.

I am doing well in the leagues I care about. Having Gurley and Hunt on the same team is sublime.

Zeke will be back for me in the championship rounds.

Looks like it is you and me.

Different matchup in one of my leagues. Team 1 is the Gurley owner. He headed into last night with Ryan and Julio going. Team 2 was trailing bigtime but had Freeman and the ATL kicker.

Not knowing how much more Freeman would go off, I shrugged off the significance of the goal line fumble and the blocked FG. Team 2 ended up losing by just 2 points. Either thing doesn't happen, and that guy wins. He must have lost his shit.

Well, made the championship in three of my seven leagues, and one of my two money leagues. Not a bad year for fantasy football.

Made the championship in my cash league.

But, I started Rodgers and AB last week, both are not playing this week. Pretty bad luck, but I survived the semis.

I'll be starting Cousins at QB, and the AB injury leaves a flex spot open, most likely for Mohammed Sanu.

Should I go with Sanu or Keelan Cole? Cole has lit it up the last few weeks.

This is a PPR league.

Call me crazy. Also considering picking up and starting Bortles at QB...

Someone talk me off this ledge.

Bortles is a fine play this week and I would start him if I had too. I would probably go cole over sanu.

I'm having the problem of picking Jordan Howard or Kenyon drake for my flex. Drake should get around the same carries as Howard but drake can also catch. Championship game is going to drive me crazy.

Drake has been on fire. Keep rolling with him. I have him as well...too bad I didn't make the championship :/

So the guy I'm playing this week has Legatron and he just got put on IR with a back injury. I have a roster spot or two I can burn. I should definitely pick up the two or three best kickers on waivers, right?

Edit: Went ahead and added Jake Elliott and Phil Dawson. Dropped Bridgewater and Jeremy McNichols (it's dynasty). Wouldn't have used one of my keeper spots (we can keep 23 out of 30) on either of them anyway, so whatever. Normally wouldn't do something like this, but the guy I'm playing against is a douchebag.

All is fair in love and fantasy football

To be honest, I did it more because I know it will piss him off when he finds out than anything. Dude's a nightmare to deal with in trades, always asking for your first born child, and I was texting back and forth with him the other night and he was complaining about a trade I made when, a few months earlier, he had traded Dak fucking Prescott to the worst (at the time) team in our dynasty league for a 2018 1st (again, this was presumed to be 1.01 in the rookie draft) and 3rd and a 2019 2nd. This is a single QB league, mind you.

I won't say the trade I made was particularly fair (it was Doug Baldwin, Austin Hooper, Doug Martin, Buck Allen, and my 2019 2nd for Devonta Freeman and the 1.02), although it wasn't awful either given that Freeman was concussed and shitty at the time, but he was talking about leaving the league because it was becoming too unbalanced because the pick I traded for (which, at the time, I assumed would be the 1.02) became the 1.01 via some crazy week 13 luck and gave me the rights to Barkley. He's just butthurt because he thought he trade raped his way into Saquon and I ended up jumping him at the last minute. :chuckle:
