FANTASY FOOTBALL 2017

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I think it's hilarious people are talking about winning or not winning the championship after the first game of the season. Yet it happens every year. I remember one year Percy Harvin was on the NFL Kickoff game for Seattle and exploded for two long touchdowns and people went nuts for him... he never played that well again in his career.

I won't lie, I was waving my big dick in my fantasy group chat because of Hunt. Those assholes should've never started though =).

They were laughing at his 7 yard run then lost fumble, talking about I fucked up, and the Charcandrick owner had a quick dance party.

But the aftermath was me not letting the place sleep.

Fantasy is played for shit talk too. It's the best. My goal is to be great of course, but also trash someone's team so much that they make a trade eventually.

I will win my league without Hunt.

What's really cracking me up is the negging of the Patriots today. Brady had his worst quarter I've seen him play in two years or so, but I've heard some crazy overreactions this morning. It's literally one game, not even one week of games. Let's see where everyone is in week three or four.

You are looking at a championship team. You had Fournette over Hunt too.

Fournette was on my "do not draft" list for redraft. Bad, inefficient offense that will be running a lot of negative game script.

Hunt, meanwhile, was stepping into an offense where basically everyone has been a top-tier NFL RB, and more importantly he was named the feature back by the team's own coach. He should absolutely have been drafted over Fournette in any non-keeper league.

In keeper leagues, I could certainly see the argument for Fournette, though. He's the more talented of the two and the better athlete, and Hunt, regardless of how good he is this year, could be replaced next year by a guy like Barkley. We just don't know. Fournette's spot is probably pretty safe, though, unless he just absolutely bombs this year.

On the plus side, drafting Hunt at the end of the third (or start of the fourth, as I picked back to back) in a standard scoring league has given me a night of talking mad shit to my buddy and the league commissioner, who was bent over and repeatedly violated by Hunt's performance last night in our week one match-up.

A non-QB player (it's six points per TD for QBs, so you get occasional huge weeks from guys) dropping 41 in a league where average team scores tend to be around 100 on a weekly basis is absurd.

No, seriously, who are you starting at TE?

I am not a Browns fan.

It looks like you are competing against the Hunt and Ezekiel owner. I think Ezekiel was taken in the 2nd round in recent drafts. I didn't really consider Ezekiel.

Lost in the Thursday night game was Amendola sliding into Edelman's role seamlessly before a concussion. If you have a low waiver priority or need to revamp with two or three roster moves, @FiveThous boy is a nice stash.

There are too many guys in NE. I don't think Amendola will be consistent. Amendola has never been consistent in NE I believe.

I'm sorry, is there a line forming for your advice? People have opinions, take em or leave em. I drafted Amendola as a flier because Brady targets his slot guy a lot, then it looked like the right call but nobody is talking about it because Hunt and Hill blew up. Once Amendola was out, they tried spreading it out with pass catching backs, but the offense absolutely fell off without a slot guy. Do you though...

Amendola has never gotten more than 700 yards in a season. He cannot stay on the field and even if he does Brady spreads it around. Gronk and Edelman have been out in the past and Amendola was not consistent.
