FANTASY FOOTBALL 2017

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I thought that it was Kevin Love in your avi because you were talking about Kevin Love in the Kevin Love thread. I couldn't see clearly on my phone. It is Clive Owen.

What was the basis of the Kevin Love argument you had? Was it because you were so pro Kevin Love? People were really going at you.

I have no idea. Sounds like you're digging up shit from months or even years ago.

Also, my avi looks nothing like Kevin Love.

Larry Fitzgerald turning back the fucking clock tonight.

Won my matchup by .52 points because of Larry. Didn't even really think I had a shot tonight. Thank God for PPR. Thanks for nothing, Hunter Henry and Amari.

Speaking of that, we have two starting TE spots this year. Just brutal.

Going to be great seeing everyone start him next week when he comes back down to earth, though.

Regression to the mean will hit hard for some.

I don't think Hunt will keep putting up the numbers he has but I expect normal starting KC RB numbers from him.

Yeah, he's probably not averaging 30 PPG for the season. But he should still be an RB1 regardless.

Call me crazy, but have you considered not starting a backup TE?

A guy in my league (PPR) is in desperate need of a RB and is willing to part with Michael Thomas or Tyreek Hill for Tarik Cohen and Adrian Peterson (I have great RB depth and desperately need a legit WR2 b/c Theilen just isn't cutting it without Bradford and DeSean Jackson is a bit too boom or bust for me)

FWIW, i already have Kelce, which cools me off just a bit on Tyreek. Thomas has been matched up against some elite DB's these past few weeks but I think he's about to go off. NO's schedule plays out a bit better IMO and I am not sure if this version of Alex Smith can sustain his play throughout the year whereas we all know what Brees is.

Thoughts? Take Tyreek and run? Is the Ohio State homer boner blinding me?

I wish - we're starting two TEs this year, so most teams are rostering three. I was an asshole and drafted Eifert, so I'm already playing catchup. After last week's injuries to Olsen, Graham, etc. the waiver wire was awful. Had to throw Henry in there and hope for the best.

I'd like to drop Henry and just stream that second TE spot the rest of the year, but he's an Antonio Gates injury away from being, well, somewhat productive. It's between Henry, Brate, Clay (who just got dropped), and Njoku. Yuck.

If only Buck Allen was a TE.

I don't think Buck Allen is going to be consistent, I am not playing him this week. Ravens are using Terrence West and Collins. Ravens offense is bad too.

Clay is solid. Averaging 6 targets per game. Kinda boom-or-bust on TD's. If you go back to end of last year + beginning of this year he's averaging like 8 targets per game and is in the top five-ish TE's.

Currently 6-0 in my two paid leagues.

Absolutely dominating the standard scoring paid league. Through three weeks, that team has put up 352 points, which is crazy in a 12 team league with zero PPR. There's only one other team in the league that's broken 300, and he's 43 points behind me. There's another 3-0 team in that league that has 102 points less than my team. :chuckle:

Led the league in scoring this week while getting zero points from my WR1 (Crabtree), zero from my TE (Ebron...and seriously fuck him, he's totally useless), one from my flex (Ajayi), one from my defense (Rams), and four from my kicker (the immortal Gostkowski). Five of my nine starters combined for six points and I still topped the league in scoring. That Hunt/Gurley combo is just devastating right now.

Buffalo has a very soft schedule for the rest of the season too. @ Carolina and vs. Denver are probably the 2 toughest defenses they see all year.
