FANTASY FOOTBALL 2017

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Good fantasy players can still win with injuries, underachievers, poor position groups, and even bad luck. Guy in my money league is 7-1 and his first 2 picks were David Johnson and OBJ, and Diggs is his #2 WR and he's missed essentially 3 weeks. Good fantasy players records reflect them being good, regardless of injuries or guys underachieving who you drafted.

I think it's safe to say that your poor record reflects more on you, and your poor grasp of the 2017 NFL landscape, then it does your bad luck with injuries, because I've seen people patch-work their way to .500 records, not 2-6 records, in much worse situations than you are currently in.

No one feels sorry for you...they're just reveling in the fact that you are all bark, no bite with regards to fantasy football after talking non-stop shit in here.

Hell, my team lost David Johnson and Allen Robinson in week one and I'm still at .500.

Also, how were that guy's first two picks DJ and OBJ? How does that even work? OBJ didn't get picked until late in round two? The fuck?

2 year keepers with an interesting rule. Guy drafted Johnson his rookie year with his last pick, held onto him all year (return yardage league, so he was putting up consistent points early on before he started to play more). First year you keep someone, its 2 rounds higher than the round they were drafted in. Second year you keep someone, if the pick 2 rounds higher that you lose isn't your 1st round pick, you lose your 2nd round pick (incentive to toss drafted rookies from previous seasons back into the draft pool, since that's mostly who is kept).

1st round pick was OBJ, and Johnson was technically his 2nd.

We use it as a reason to care more than normal about the later part of the draft, and roster management of your bench throughout the season.

Okay, in a keeper league that makes sense.

The NFL needs to table the Elliot suspension thing until after the season. The whole suspended, not suspended, suspended, not suspended thing is killing me. I can't make trades for another RB1 if he is going to play and I can't be sure that he will.

I know I accepted the risk with Elliot but this whole mess should have been settled, one way or another, by now.

Yeah they're really fucking over their fantasy audience, which I'd imagine is the bulk of their fans, with this shit.

Will be kind of funny if the first week he's suspended is week one of the fantasy playoffs, though. Just another giant F-U from Goodell. :chuckle:

I'm thinking of offering a Hill/Demarco package (if Demarco performs well this week) to maybe get a Evans/White combo. Am I just over thinking my roster and trading thing now? Am I giving up too much/too little? Thoughts?

Then explain why my fantasy basketball team is dominant?

I said that part of the reason why I was trash talking before the season was try to get things going in the league.

I know Jack is probably a Jackass because he is opportunistic looking for people to pick on. He is a Jackass.

Well you succeeded in that regard. It just didn't go the way you hoped. If you were 6-2, I guarantee you'd never let us hear the end of it. Instead, you're forced to come here week after week defending all the shit you talked. Don't play the victim card now.

Just fuck off already. I'm sick of your shit and trying to hijack this thread

Can Hunt and Julio have one of those 30 point day's? Would appreciate it

Dude in my money dynasty league, second worst team in the league right now, dropped Jamison Crowder today. What the fuck? What is wrong with these people?

Meanwhile, he's rostering twelve IDP guys when we can only start three total and he has two more in his IR slots. I know Crowder hasn't been great this year aside from that big game last week, but dropping Crowder is ridiculous. Kid's 24 and averaged 10ppg last year.

I dropped him in one of my leagues because I didn't have any roster spots open and needed to add Aaron Jones due to the ongoing Elliot legal drama.

Yeah but dropping him in seasonal is fine. He wasn't producing with any kind of consistency. He's exactly the type of player you'd consider dropping in a redraft league like the RCF one.

Dropping him in dynasty with thirty man rosters is ridiculous. Especially when this guy was holding on to like twelve IDP players in a league where we start three. No point in that.

I think I'm done making trades. I feel like my team comes out worse every time. The Tyrod trade was alright, but these two other ones. Fucking Ajayi with a td
