I'm looking to get some insight about a trade that someone has proposed to me. Since most are Browns fans, we don't have a dog in this fight and I could use some un-biased opinions...

I've been offered Reggie Bush and Santonio Holmes for Felix Jones.

My Team:

QB: Drew Brees, Donovan McNabb
RB: Ahmad Bradshaw, Felix Jones, Ryan Grant, Jerome Harrison, Montario Hardesty
WR: Andre Johnson, Mario Manningham, Robert Meachem, Malcom Floyd, Roy Williams
TE: Greg Olson, Dustin Keller
K: Mason Crosby
DEF: Chargers

Running points are pretty standard. Only difference is there is a one point bonus for 40+ yard TD runs, 3 point bonus for a 100 yard rushing game and a 5 point bonus for a 200+ yard rushing game.

Receiving points go 1 point per 10 yards, 3 points for every 5 receptions, one point for a 40+ yard touchdown, 3 points for a 100 yard receiving game and 5 points for a 200+ yard receiving game.

I realize that I'll be very thin at RB in this deal, but is it worth it to take on another stud WR?

With Reggie Bush you have potential for a lot of points in the "college scandal" category, and he's a pretty solid performer when it comes to bagging dark-complexioned white chicks with huge Ts and As. Santonio Holmes, meanwhile, is one of the league-leaders in cockshots, a category looking for a new dominant player after Brett Favre retired.

On the other hand, Felix Jones does nothing spectacularly but gains yardage at a nice clip.

It's a tough call, but I'd make that trade.

Santonio Holmes and Reggie Bush are known entities. Sky is the limit for Felix Jones. I think he's likely to put up close to 15 pts next week too.

I'm not sure I'd call Holmes a "stud" receiver. He's really no higher than above average is he?

Personally I'd hang onto Felix Jones, because Bush is GOING TO get hurt. Bush has never been a feature back and is highly unlikely to be able to do so. Jones will get you the 100 yard bonus points sometimes whereas Bush is probably not going to do that at all.

Plus Jones caught a bunch of passes last year which could get you that bonus too.

I don't think I'd even consider this if I were you.

Good points from Jigo. Everyone knew Felix Jones was in for his lowest points total this past week, going up against a tough defense. I read somewhere that Dallas has the second easiest schedule in the NFL. It's a classic sell high and buy low for your opponent. I'd ask him to sweeten the deal, citing the facts we just gave you.

I agree with jigo, I don't see holmes as a stud and I'm really high on Felix jones this year. Trying to make a move for him but cant come up with a good one yet. Don't touch it.

Maybe propose back with grant and Floyd...idk?

He just sweetened it with Dez and Reggie Bush.. Still, I am not thinking it is enough seeing as though I'm thin at RB.

So it's Dez, Santonio and Bush now?

What other RB's does he have?

No, just Dez and Bush. Rather than Santonio and Bush. I don't see this being worth it either, now thinking about how Felix does get receptions.

No way. If you're giving away Jones at this point, you need to get a #2 RB in return in a package IMO. Bush is a flex at best.

Forgot to mention. I have a flex position... Two WR, two RB and one WR/RB.

I would probably do it. Don't listen to me though I have the worst advice when it comes to fantasy since I always want my favorite players.

Or more favorite.
