ill be honest i would be shocked if we see him again this year. There is clearly something going on with his foot. He took 2 weeks off, and was able to play... 2.5 games before having to rest it again.

who knows maybe if he sits the next 2 weeks he will be okay, but not with the luck the cavs have had with injuries this year
They said they took a couple MRI's no structural damage...it's something he's had before...if it ere the playoffs he'd play

Hope he comes back soon. Should take every minute Shumpert currently gets. Dude looks checked out to me.

Korver switching his shoes to the Kyrie shoe. He feels like the shoes he was wearing didn't support his foot properly. No timetable on his return but it sounds like he got some work in before the Philly game.

Korver has missed the last three games and 10 games overall last month with inflammation of a tendon on the outside of his left foot. He told cleveland.com his on-court workout Friday before the Cavs beat the 76ers was positive and he was to work out again Saturday, but stopped short of setting a definitive date for his return.

Cleveland hosts the Indiana Pacers Sunday. A source said it was unlikely Korver would play.

Korver believes his foot problems persisted after he returned to the court March 22 because the shoe he's been wearing, the Nike Kobe A.D., wasn't designed to fit the cutting and twisting and turning Korver puts himself through while running off screens.

If I were Korver, I would look into getting orthotics. They can help alleviate foot and ankle issues, even if your shoes aren't the right ones for you.

Maybe get him some lifts too so we can have another 7 footer on the team. :chuckle:

Seriously though; I wonder how many guys in the NBA have foot/back problems due to wearing a sponsors shoes that were probably designed more for looks than function?

No...it was his knee, Lue, and the training staff that caused his current foot problems...not his shoes...

And I guarantee he has orthotics already...just not much they can do when a shoe is letting your foot move around inside of them.

Man, Bimbo, just gonna join the Cavs training staff and not tell us?

Again, be prepared to go through the playoffs without him.
