New article by Windhorst on Korver dealing with his brother's death:

http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/23561760/cleveland-cavaliers-kyle-korver-plays-family-tragedy

The last lines in the article make it look like he's been reading RCF:

"You know the world gives you a little bit of time. They're very sad for you. And they still are," Kyle said. "But sometimes it's like, 'OK, we'd like you to take the shots and make every one, please.'"

Do you think Cavs players read the forum? seriously if I were a player I would be intrigued..just a bit.

I'm not too sure about this. We had some very good shooters with our guards and LeBron basically refused to play PF in his first stint. The problem was we didn't have a good stretch 4. Even when we got Antwan Jameson, if you look at his 3 point percentage it's NBA average to slightly below average. I do think Korver would have helped but without LeBron moving to PF to open up minutes for Korver, it would have been a good shooter getting move out of the rotation for a slightly better shooter.

2009 Orlando series was decided by 5 points. If Korver had been there, Cavs win and I for one think they beat the Lakers. Cavs were flukey cold from 3 while Orlando was flukey hot. I think Korver puts Lebron over the edge. He really only needed one guy to step up there.

The Cavs' #2 option all playoffs.

Also...his defense has been phenomenal for him.

Yep.

Not trying to shit on Love again but I can understand when a player's physical tools don't help him in defense like it does to Korver on some occasions but as a team defender, the man is so good. He contests every shot and hustles hard. No reason why Kevin Love shouldn't be doing that as well.

Game-7 against Boston in 2008 as well.

I think I read somewhere that Dion did. Not sure though.

Mod Gods with knowledge like @InBoobieWeTrust , @PIP , @Randolphkeys and obviously @Ben would know this better!

We used to operate under the assumption they did because before Twitter, we had overwhelming proof that A LOT of the NBA world read RCF. Now I truly feel like Twitter changed how sports is discussed online. That said, when I personally post I carry that frame of reference. It's a shame so many people in our society generally lack that awareness when they write any thought online.

Oh for sure Cavs win that with Korver. Boobie, Korver Lebron. Korver and 2009 Delonte. Wow.

It raises my blood pressure everytime I think how inept we were at surrounding Bron with some good reliable talent in his first stint here.
