I agree, but I don't think he fills the role of "backup for LeBron." He's not a dynamic scorer or facilitator. In fact, the only thing they have in common is that they are roughly the same height and happen to both play "SF" whatever that means these days. He stopped being that level of player several years ago.
I don't think the Cavs are done. At least, I hope they aren't done.

I never thought we were equating a backup for LeBron with someone who could do the same role or comparable things. I mean that would be great but for the vet min?
I was never one that believed Rudy Gay was coming here as our SG/SF 6th man, so my expectation for the backup SF for the vet min was always in the Prince, wright, Jefferson range.
If we get the TPE, we do at least retain the flexibility and means to perhaps upgrade from Jefferson midseason, though the odds might be small, they'd exist.
