I'm currently 2nd in my league at 8-2 and pretty much locked into the playoffs. It's a 12 team league with a 1-yr, 1 player keeper rule.
I'm looking to trade C.Benson, M.Austin and P.Harvin for Fitzgerald. The team I'm trading with is out of playoff contention and needs to rebuild for next year. Is this a fair trade or do I need to look elsewhere?
I feel it's a fair trade b/c Benson would be his keeper and Benson carries an 8th round pick with him. So he wouldn't have his 8th round pick next year but he essentially has his #1 RB without wasting a top pick. Plus he's getting 2 decent WR's to finish the year with and play spoiler.
After the trade my team looks like this.....
QB - McNabb
RB - D.Williams
RB - P.Thomas
WR - Wayne
WR - Fitzgerald
TE/WR - Burleson
TE - V.Davis
D/ST - Chicago
K - Akers
Bench - J.Stewart, Roy Williams, B.Edwards, J.Carlson, Seahawks D
