Has one player actually fully understood this defense since implementing it? I'm not even sure LeBron is 100% sure where he should be all the time. JR and TT seem constantly lost and have had the most time in it. Defense shouldn't be this hard especially when you don't have to cover for huge defensive liabilities.
This is completely insane when you consider that we switched out Isiah Thomas for George Hill and Jae Crowder for Larry Nance. How can your defense not improve when you do that? Given our lousy personnel I had been resisting the idea that it was a pure coaching problem but with every game that goes by it gets harder to deny.
I'd like to see this guy interviewed on the situation. Why don't the beat writers every get quotes from these guys, do they not talk to them? The only camera time the assistants get is with Allie and that's just typical "we got to play better" bull crap. I want to hear directly from Longo on what's happening with specifics.
Somebody needs to do some actual organizing on this. Social media campaign, signs outside the stadium, approaching reporters and asking them why the fuck they aren't asking questions about this, etc.
"Fire Mike Longabardi" = FML, known as an acronym for being at the end of one's rope. Maybe do something with that.
I’ve been on the fire Longabardi train as much as anyone, but ultimately our head coach also needs to have some balls to say to him “Your system hasn’t worked for two years under various rosters, not even now when we have capable personnel. We’re getting rid of it once and for all.”
