I don't know that this is a question as much as a suggestion. I realize that everyone on this website raves about the search feature. I agree that it is a useful tool to help access information on a certain topic and I applaud those who made it so damnably functional. :)

That said, often times threads are combined, or information on a thread is updated. For example, the Jamario Moon thread. It was posted that he was signed to an offer sheet. Seven days later, the Heat declined that offer sheet. However, that fact was posted in the very same thread as him signing the offer sheet (everything was combined, and the topic name was changed). When I clicked on the link to read about how the Heat declined the offer sheet, the post I read was about him *signing* the offer sheet. I then had to dig through the thread to find information and details on the Heat declining the offer sheet.

The suggestion is as such. Is there some way to sticky important posts within a thread? For example, have the first post by the original thread author first, and then all the important information in subsequent posts right underneath? Again, an example.

Post 1: The information about him signing the offer sheet.
Post 2: (Moved from whatever page it initially landed on) Information about the Heat declining to match the offer sheet.

I think this would be a helpful tool for those of us who want to read the information and the article, before and/or instead of sifting through everyone's commentary about what was posted.
